Ranked games without friends = bad, very bad.
I bought GOW when it came out but i just recently started to play it in multiplayer. All i did before was the story mode in coop and while i liked it it was fairly short and honestly i'm not a big... The Burning Crusade. I ... I must ... I must resist.

When i think about it i have yet to win any slayer match in Halo and Halo 2. LAN, split screen or XBox Live. I think the only slayer match i won was in Halo 2 training mode against complete n00bs... The PCish console market
