Well no Open Water is not a porn movie but it's very close. Add a couple of sexually explicits sequences and you got a porn movie. Honestly after 10 minutes i did stop the DVD to be sure i was really watching Open Water and not a porn movie someone would have replaced Open Water with. This is definately in my top 100 most overrated movie of all times..
I bought GOW when it came out but i just recently started to play it in multiplayer. All i did before was the story mode in coop and while i liked it it was fairly short and honestly i'm not a big fan of the story mode coop or single player. I must say i'm terribly dissapointed about the ranked games. Is there even a way to join a team based ranked game with our friends. Custom is fun but i do like playing against strangers with my friends. I did it a lot with Halo 2 and i do it a lot with PC games.
I just wonder if this is the way Microsoft see ranked games over XBox Live Gold. After Call of Duty 3 now GOW.
Honestly if Halo 3 doesn't have the option to play team based ranked games with our friends like Halo 2 did i will consider selling my Xbox 360 and it's not a joke.
For now i will be very cautious before buying Xbox Live enabled game. I don't want to buy another game where i can't play ranked games with my friends.
God i wonder if World of Warcraft is like a drug.
I spent so much time on this game this fall that i got disconnected from the video games market. I'm sure I missed a lot of good games. Each free time i had i jumped in World of Warcraft. I played so much that at the end it was just not fun anymore. Almost all nights of the weeks and a good part of my weekends went in that game this fall. I never played a game so much.
This december i took the resolution to sell my World of Warcraft account and not play the upcoming Burning Crusade expansion to have more free times to play all the great games i would miss otherwise. And there's a lot of them coming next year like Mass Effect, Unreal Tournament 2007 and such.
But i muss admit it's hard to resist the appeal of World of Warcraft The Burning Crusade. The weird thing is this game is so lame that it's not fun when you are level 60 and do 20 or 40 men raids. You must farm to pay your repair bills. You must do the same instance over and over to gather DKP so you can get the armors and weapons you want if they ever drop. It takes so much time to be ready to start a 20 or 40 men raid it's not funny. Ridiculously long flight path. Warriors need to repair before the last boss often in Molten Core or Zul'Gurub.
I realised that what is fun in the game is the social aspects of it. You talk to people and make friends. For example my guild makes a party january 20. But god i came to hate this game so much. I miss the short 1 hour session of online fps or the joy of a good story in a single player game. World of Warcraft is like having a 2nd job.
So I made the new year resolution to quit MMORPGs. Those games are not for me.
