After hearing much praise about him, espeically from Chessmaster, I decided to pick up The Essential Bob Dylan two days ago, and I must say, I am in awe at how great he is. Now, I have listened to him before, but I never really got a chance to listen to him and alot of his songs. Most, if not all of the songs on the CD are great, and feature great lyrics and music. He is easily one of my favorite artists now.

So far, here are my top three songs from the CD:

1. Like a Rolling Stone (Easily my favorite song on the album, and among the greatest songs I've ever heard. Everything about the song flows great and is just amazing.)

2. Hurricane

3. Jokerman (I love the lyrics in this song, lots of metaphors and allusions to different things, just make the song better and makes me think more.)

So there, thats what I've got to say about Dylan so far. Besides the CD I already have though, do you recommend any others by Dylan that have songs different than the ones on this CD?
