My computer crashed Tuesday night. Apparently some downloads from Microsoft did the trick. I couldn't do anything with the computer. Fortunately one of my brothers is rather ace with computers and I gave it to him yesterday evening and today I'm up and running. Strangely he swapped out the hard drive. He did copy a lot of my information but I'm missing my music. I have to have a word on how to recover that from my old hard drive sitting in front of me taunting me.

I've been this level for some time now (18 Sep)but I'm only at 9%. Only lost one day on the computer problem so that won't hold me up too long.

Being computer free allowed me to be annoyed with the cable company as it's sporadic service. Called them up and have a tech coming Saturday to check the equipment.

The weather has gotten colder and looking out my window it's been a steady rain all day. Ah well....I did get some chores done around the house today which was a good thing.

Peace out.....thanks for reading my ramblings.

Did you get the update in the end? There is an update from MS I can't install on this comp anymore. I'm thinking it is the SP3 if it was released.

Geezes that level takes time. I'll finish level 43,44 and 45 long before you're done with it

@horgen123.....I think my brother has all the updates up to date. And thanks for that. It's depressing slow to never move up in this level.

It's good to have relatives that can help out. It was cold and rainy here as well. In fact, it's rained all week.

If you don't get any notifications about updates you probably got them all. I can see that. 2ndWonder updates the 25 top user levels once a month and there are loads of people in level 63, 18/25 I think. Will soon be 20/25. You go up like 10% from between each update. I'm not looking forward to that level

Hurray for free repairs from relatives. And a speedy turn around.

Ah, it's good that your brother was able to help out. Computer problems are the worst! I've found that it's hard being computer free.

Good that you got it fixed, hope you can get your music back. You should be on that level for a very very long time though.

I have my music backed up on 2 different hard drives. That's the one thing I'm paranoid about losing. I have way too much time invested in it to lose it.

It's been rainy and cold here too. Winter's definitely coming.

Good luck with the level. MAILER was level 63 when I joined the site and was level 64 a few weeks after my 1 year anniversary... if that makes you feel any better

Good to see the computer is up and running... and as for weather... we've already gotten snow. But, that's the midwest for you.

I had a similar problem, but it was only with my keyboard. At least we're both good now

No computer... I'm sure that was painful. Don't worry about your level, it's amazingly high as it is. I know what you mean about the weather, I've been experiencing -2 Celsius (28.4 Fahrenheit) this weekend and it's been pretty cold, but great at the same time . I'll make a blog about this.

You should get Spotify, I'm usually using that because I don't have any of The Cure's albums, that's how I listen to most songs.
