Seeing how the BBC still haven't got round to sorting out their archives, my level updates will be few and far between at the moment , so I thought it only right, that when I do go up a level, it should be celebrated in s.t.y.l.e , so from now on, everytime I go up a level, I'm gonna have a blog party .

Today is officially a whole year till I go to University . And so to celebrate, I've decided to start a count down . But rather than just countdown the days till I become a full time student again, I thought I'd do a countdown for all the things I'm looking forward to in the next year .

I will add and remove events as I go on, but I shall still always list the countdown on every blog I post .

So to start things off, here's the first countdowns, plus the reasons why I'm looking forward to the events . The events that are the closest will be at the top of the list :

12 Days till I go on Holiday

What's not to look forward to . It's my first trip to America in 4 years. It's the first time I've been to another country by myself . It's the first I've been to an American state that wasn't Florida . And on the holiday I'll be going to a whole pletohra of famous towns and locations, including: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and The Grand Canyon .

54 Days till I officially start Christmas shopping

I love Chirstmas time . And I love buying presents for people, but I have about a dozen people to buy presents for , and half of those people are really hard to buy presents for , so I give myself plenty of time to buy what I need .

60 Days till Halloween

It's not really celebrated that heavily in the UK . I haven't even been to a proper Halloween party since high School , although that one was quite eventfull . It ended up with me and a semi-professional ice skater sitting together on the front door step of my friend's house at about 1am (I was dressed as a Vampire, and she was in some lycra Skeleton outfit), while my friend was being violently sick after having way too many drinks, and dancing for about 2 hours to kids party tunes . Also, every Halloween I watch one horror movie, nothing too scary , but I still make an effort to watch one . I always go with one that I know I enjoy, not necessarily a cl@ssic of the genre , but still one I enjoy . I used to always watch Scream, but I've since decided to do a different one every year . In 2006 I watched Freddy Vs Jason, In 2007 I watched Child's Play 2, and for 2008, well I guess I'll have to see what takes my fancy . Halloween is also the only day when I have my Mickey Mouse Scarecrow out on show .

I can officially start listening to Christmas songs, watching Christmas films, and putting up Christmas decorations . Those of you who have been with me for the last year or so may remember my "24 Days of Advent" blogs . Unfortunately they will not make a full return this year (Mainly because it wasn't easy to do ), but, I will definately be doing several Christmas blogs in that period .

I'm gonna be a student again . And I'm not gonna have any family around to nag me, and I'm gonna be studying something I love (Film), in a really lovely looking location (Cheltenham, Gloucestershire), and I'm gonna meet loads of new people .

Hey everyone .

Bit of a slow one this month , but I'll tell you about it anyway :

Away from TV.com:

- I went out with my brother and one of his best friends, and we went to Namco (Yes as in the games company ), it's this mega impressive arcade on the South Bank (of London) which aswell as arcade games, also has a McDonalds, a bar, pool tables, and the most fan part of all.....Bumper Cars!! (aka Dodgems ). I haven't been on a bumper car in years, it was so much fun , I love smashing into everyone else . Oh and they also had one of those places where you win tickets depending on how well you play a game, I haven't done something like that in ages either . I won some sweets , but I figured that for less than £10's worth of games I could have one a soft toy tiger . Oh well, maybe I'll have to do that next time .

- I got new stuff for my holiday . I got a new rucksack (a small one for the plane, and small excursions), I got a little medical kit, and some new trainer/hiking boot things .

- I won a prize for a review again

- It was my brother's birthday . We all chipped in and bought him a BMX . But it also started our big family birthday run that has at least one Birthday every month from August, and goes all the way up to November (When there are 4 of them )

- Due to a community section on the site, I managed to find out about some of the people I'll be going trekking with . There are people from Wales, Scotland, and New Zealand going (and possibly more, but they just may not have posted anything yet ). Yaaayy for internationalness . Plus one of them lives in Cheltenham, which is where my University is, so I can find out all about the area from them too .

- Somebody from a job I did last year contacted me on Facebook . I haven't spoken to them since I finished there last November, so it was nice to here from them again .

- I got 8 new friends

- I made a new quiz. And it's lasted more than a day and a half already . It's a new record! . But have no fear, the next quiz should be easier .
