dude, it's only the middle of july, and ur already worrying about summer being over?! lol. I still have 3 summer reading books to read, and I didn't even finish my first one lol. And if it turns out I got accepted into AP Lit, then I have 4 books to read!

Summer has been flying for me too! When does everyone else go back to school? I go back at the end of August. So only a lil over a month left of summer.

i feel as though summer is leaving too quickly for me too. Yesterday was the first time I went to the beach this summer (and i live by a lake ). This weekend I'm touring a potential college, and i still need to take my senior pics, take my road test, and all the other "summer-y" stuff. I have a student council meeting in a month (we go back to school in a month and a half...day after labor day), and i feel as though thats coming up so quickly!!

Addicted - Yes, I worry way too much. And if you've still got three books to read, what in the hell are you doing posting??

gumcurls - I go back somewhere between the 23th and the 27th of August. I'm not exactly sure, LOL!

Ugh I just had the same realization last night. It's such a bummer having a birthday at the end of July because I always have August sneaking up on me right after it. I start school August 22nd and would rather be pecked half to death by geese than have to go back to that evil school (yeah I hate my school with a passion). On the plus side I don't have any summer reading to do except maybe Harry Potter, but I'll probably end up procrastinating from reading that even though I enjoy it.

I start school at the end of august/early september, but I'm trying to enjoy and savor each and every day of this summer, you know, looking at it optimistically, unlike all my previous summers... Think of it as dang, there's still one and a half month left of summer? I need to find more things to do! I'm tellin ya, the more things you do this summer, the more you are going to remember it.

Don't worry, I live in Australia, and we have school through the year... And it is bloody COLD here!!! (For where I live, its cold) I wish it was summer here...

Call me crazy, but I don't really like summer. My favorite season is winter. The only thing I like about summer is having no school. I'm trying to make my summer memorable, but I've been kind of busy. I am going to an amusment park soon when I'm on a mini-vacation. Woot!

well, i believe it was made a law in michigan that the earliest public schools can return is the day after labor day. I'm cool with that but when do you guys who start end of august get out? We don't get out until the first week of June and our breaks are not that long. There's an upside and downside to starting day after labor day

I go back at the end of August & get out the second week of June. Our other breaks (Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving) totally depend on how many snow days we have. But for Christmas, we usually get out a couple of days before Christmas and go back January 2. We had a lot of snow days this year even though we had almost no snow at all...go figure.

We usually get out around June 15-16 or so, but this year we got out on the 13th. We usually start school around August 27-29th or so.

I have 2 more books to read and 2 essays for AP European. I read 2 books already and now I'm almost done with my 3rd. I can't believe school starts in almost another month
