It is a gamespot union, which as the title suggests, was created for the lovers and fans of Firefly/Serenity and Kristin Reilly (and those who are annoyed with the people who continue to hate on her, give her a break!). The purpose of the union is to bring all you fans together, because we all know "You can't stop the signal".

Most of you probably know that Joss Whedon (creator of Firefly)
is a supporter of a charity called "Equality Now" a charity that strives to achieve equality for women. Some of you may have heard of Serenity Now! a charity screening of the film Serenity in certain cites throughout the world where all of the proceeds went toward the charity Equality Now. This link shows the date and location for the remaining screenings. If you haven't already been to a screening and there is one close to you I highly recommend that you attend.

So far this may seem like strictly Firefly/Serenity based union and you may be wondering why Kristin Reilly was included in the name. Well, its not only because she is gorgeous, but because (as I understand it) she is also a supporter of girl gamers and the like, a small step toward equality.
