Uwaaaaa.....

So, I just got back form seeing Hawk Nelson LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE, and Nathan,or whatever his name is (I'll just call him Hawk) was amazing.

First, though: The side act. So these two guys come in dressed like rockers from the eighties, dreads and all, and everyone's like"They aren't on the program!" So, the announcer guy's like,"Who are you guys! You aren't supposed to be up here!" They introduce themselves as Chevey and Van, and together they are Chevey Van (something). THe vans bring the rock, but theROdey's make it roll. So, they start snging this song about My Space to some popular tune that I don't really know, and the announcer guy gets all mad at them for not having real talent, so they leave.

Building 421: the first real act. Everyone's all excited from Chevey and Van, so they already have an enthusiastic crowd. They play some songs I don't know, and they're awesome. Then they sang a song I DID recognise. I thing it's called "I believe". They showed a cute (but sad) little movie with clips from their misssion trip. /it had all these sad looking children, but then after a while, they started showing happy pictures of the kids getting presents, and attention and stuff.

The Guest Speaker: At least a hundred (more like 200) people went down to the floor to accept Christ. Need I say more?

More Chevey and Van: THey did some (bad) dancing, "played" a guitar solo, and smashed their guitars. Van got hit on the head by Chevey, and ended up on the floor. The announcer made them clean up their mess and get off the stage.

Hawk Nelson: The final act. Ever notice that Hawk has a moHAWK? just realised that. So, one of the guitarists kept making funning faces into the onstage camera. Hawk didn't pick up any small children and dance around with them over his shoulder this time, nor did he jump off of anything, but the part where he daringly got down from the stage and was, shall I say, molested by rabid fangirls. He started walking, and some people picked him up and forced him to crowd surf. Luckies. he also sand a mix between "Zero" and "Everything You Ever Wanted" They played one of their songs (I forget what it's called) for the first time ever LIVE, just for us. Then he told us about how he got his start in music, sang a song, then we left.

The highlights of the night were mostly from Hawk. I love that thing he does with his head that makes him look like a bird, and the spinny thing he does with the mike stand. LOL! He threw his waterbottle out into the crowd, and some lucky girl got to keep it. Stupid readio contest winners (They got to be on the foor, while everyone else was stuck in the risers) Anyways, don't you just LOVE over-hyping Hawk Nelson? He's like the new Chuck Norris. Only manlier. Chuck Noris's Mom's face in America or something.

P.S.: I'm pretty sure Hawk is married. I'm just fangirling for the sport of it.

Well. I'm really tired, so goodnight, and I hope I'll have time to reply to people's blogs tomorrow.
