My plan after I finish college is to go into the Marine Corps. Many of my family members do not want me to risk my life and would prefer me to sit behind a desk all day. Honestly though, a desk job isn't me.

As of now, my plan is to go through the OCS program and become a 2nd Lieutenant after I graduate. I am thinking about going to the Platoon Leader's Course after my Junior year in college for 10 weeks, and then go the The Basic School for 6 months after I graduate from college.

I've been up here at Michigan State for about 3 months now, and I must say, college is much better than high school. The difficulty of the classes is higher, but that aside, it is awesome to be on my own and start making decisions for myself.
This semester has gone by so quickly, it feels like I just got here!

I still need to finish writing my essay for college; I have been putting it off for so long.
