Vince knows fully well that Benoit had so much pressure on him and was insane when he died and killed his family. It's like I said in the last entry, Chris Benoit did not have control of himself. The very first thing Vince did was deny steroid involvement (roid-rage). The WWE wellness program will have proven to be not working then, and then Vice would look bad and lose some business credibility. Yet he would not be able to prove it until several days later. He shut out Chris Benoit from WWE tv and wwe.com to avoid being accused of promoting a murderer, instead of standing up for Benoit, who has done just as much for the company as anyone in the WWE today. The man fakes his own death on national tv, then a few weeks later calls Benoit a monster on a news program. All Vince McMahon cares about is his image and money, he doesn't care about the people who work hard to give it to him.

I have all the respect in the world for Chris Benoit. Yes, what he did was horrible and wrong. However, it was more than likely not under his control. He suffered from extreme paranoia, and that can make people do even worse things than what he did. WWE is probably not even going to mention his name for years, I believe that is the wrong approach. This will probably keep him out of the hall of fame and SvR 08. If you just thought about all the good he's done and everything he accomplished instead of just focusing on the last two days of his life, you (like me) will believe that it is wrong to shut him out like this. Since Chris Benoit obviously could not control himself,

I forgive you, Chris

And I am sorry that Vince McMahon and WWE are just trying to protect themselves and not someone who was loyal to the business for 22 amazing years

We miss you

As many of you know know, steve Irwin died early last night.  I am really going to miss him.  I used to quite actively watch him, and just this morning I clicked to go to internet and saw the story on the front page.  We love you steve, and rest in peace.
