...Since I've written any blog entry on here. I must say, thus far, I am very happy with this season's new episodes. ![]()
Grey's Anatomy - The 2 hour season premiere was amazing. I loved all the dream sequences, esp the one with Meredith and Cristina as little old ladies! Dr. McSaucy(I'm working on a McName for the Army doc haha) was awesome and I loved all his interactions with Cristina, and the fact that he just walks around saying "so?"
Criminal Minds - Three episodes in, and, like Christina Aguilera's new song, it keeps getting better. I must say, Luke Perry is getting really good at playing psychos. He was a cult leader on CM this week, and a rapist on SVU for their season premiere.
Law and Order: SVU - So far I keep getting surprised and still drawn into this series, even on its, what, 10th season? The premiere with Luke Perry was awesome and the twist at the end was crazy. Last week's episode with the pedophiles was insane, and it was almost scary seeing what Stabler was capable of doing, although it makes sense, in order to protect his family.
Private Practice - So far, I've had to catch up on the episodes online, but I like where it's heading. They have interesting cases that you would NEVER see on Grey's, and it's getting intense. Me gusta mucho.
Army Wives - As all my other shows are gearing up, Army Wives is getting ready for their season finale. This season has been full of emotion and I love it more and more every day. I can't even pick a favorite episode, but I'm glad that, after the intense one where Claudia Joy gets raped and Pamela's stalker gets too close, they both get their revenge in the next episode. And of course, I love those Army guys too ![]()
Girls Next Door - I do love my girls, but it's a little odd watching it now that I know that both Kendra and Holly have been moving on and will be replaced soon... hmmm Kinda like watching Newlyweds DVDs after Jessica and Nick got divorced.
Other than that, I cannot WAIT until the elections are over. I'm so sick of hearing everyone try to push their beliefs on me. I know who I'm gonna vote for, and no, I'm not going to tell you. I will tell you one thing though. I could give two sh*ts about who celebrities endorse, pardon my (almost) language. All these celebrities are giving their two cents about who they like or hate, and it only makes me feel annoyed, not encouraged. Especially Madonna. I have never liked her nor Angelina the Crazy Lady Jolie, and I would be so happy if I never hear anything about either of them ever again. But that's for a blog of a different time
Ugh, the sheer nickname Gizzie irritates me almost as much as the thought of George and Izzie together.
"Why does everyone hate on Izzie when Meredith does equally bad stuff??"
Well... Meredith might have slept with Derek, but she stopped when she found out he was married. Izzie knew that George was married when they got drunk and slept together.
I don't hate on Izzie cuz she does bad things, the whole cast of characters does bad stuff. I hate on Izzie because, while she does bad things, she JUDGES other people when they screw up, while forgetting those are the people who will support her and be there for her when she f*cks up. She b*tches at Meredith for how long after Meredith slept with and subsequently, broke George. But wait, wasn't it Izzie who kept pushing George to tell Meredith, even though she apparently knew that Meredith didn't feel the same way? And George had sex with Meredith, it's not like she raped him or anything. They both made the bad decision to sleep together, not jsut Meredith. And now, Izzie has gone and made a horribe mistake by sleeping with George, and now is trying to play the victim.
According to Spoilers, though, I will be very unhappy with the results of George-Izzie, probably due to Izzie constantly pestering George to re-think things or something stupid like that, and they are going to hook up and fall in love. GAG. ME. NOW.
I know, I know, it's just a show... but these characters are my people...
So I was watching Criminal Minds tonight, and in one scene, they try to re-visit an old rape case from years ago during Mardi Gras. Something that the investigator(who had checked out the case) said pissed me off. He said that he never followed up on the case, because "the girl was a tease. She was asking for it. She had so many beads on you could see them from space."
What a load of crap! I don't care WHAT she was wearing or what she was doing, the second she said no, it turned to rape. I've gone to Mardi Gras parties before (not in New Orleans, though), and I wore TONS of beads. That doesn't mean I'm just some tease looking for some action. Just because I might dress in a skirt to go out to the clubs with my girls does not mean I want to be raped.
Just like it does though, the show ended pretty well. The whole show was amazing, with the exception of that dousche bag who just should resign from being a police officer. Otherwise, how will rape victims ever feel safe?
