Oh man, this is going to seem completly random, but i'm ok with that. So I have recently decided what my favorite game of all time is, surprisingly it's not Half-Life2 or the orignal (though they're in my top 5). So you propably wondering what game i have decided is my favorite, if  not Half-Life. To be honest Perfect Dark (64) the orignal one. I still play it and i still think the best game ever made. I have a pretty short liking for things, i only like playing a game until its sequel comes out (I even play oblivion always over morrowind, even if i want to play morrowind). Perfect Dark is just that, Perfect. You have everything a good games has, awesome gameplay, decent graphics, crazy storyline, surprising ending, good co-op play, you unlike things when you beat certain levels with certain requirments (a big plus in my book), unbelievable music (turn your sub up on Mayian Tears , and a great multi-play, even my friends and me play this over Halo 2 or any of the new FPS's (except Timesplitters 2 sometimes win). Also, it was extremely revolutionary at the time. It's just an all around great game.

Ok this is more of a rant then games, but it deals with games. I'm sorely dissapointed in games right now. Not because they're "uneducational", or make you "dumber", no, it's because of titles. That's the problem titles. What's wrong with them? Well we depend on them too much, as we should. Now-and-days you have to wait for specifics games to come out. If you like FPS (First-Person Shooter) then you wait until the next Halo or Half-Life comes out, why, because you know that those kind of games are going to be the only good FPS's. Oh sure, once in a while you'll get a good one like Far Cry by a company that nobody has ever-heard of, but that's really not the point. Once upon a time (like 3-5 years ago) me and my brother would be bored, so we head down to the mall and see what's in the bargan bin, we were poor at the time, but what's even crazier is we found games we like. I mean these games had decent graphics (for the time), the best storylines, awesome gameplay, and amazing replay value (something that just isn't around anymore, i can only new games once!) We didn't sit there and wait for some big title to come out, like Halo, Need For Speed, Elderscrolls, etc. (those are all great games, don't get me wrong.) But now we have to wait for these big titles, why, because the small companies can't compete with the big ones, it's nobodies fault, it's just that I can't go to the bargain bin and find great games, i have to wait and pay $50-60 for a good game. Now i'm sure some people out there disagree and that's fine, but you can't argue, gaming has taken a big dive.

(P.M. your thoughts please!)

Some people just don't have opinions. Like King_Lancelot.
King_Lancelot must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could King_Lancelot possibly have for not rating a single film?
