I really liked Hancock. Jason Bateman acted really good in the movie. When the film introduces Charlize Theron, you'd think that the movie would take a wrong turn, but it actually gets way more interesting. The only downfall of Hancock was probably the chemistry between Will Smith and Charlize Theron. I don't know, it just seemed weak. But, other than that, Hancock does what it is expected out of it, and it is definitely worth to put on your movies list this summer.

It all came down to this. And this was very entertaining and satisfying. The transformation of Anakin was perfect. Although, I didn't like the way they killed off Mace Windu. He's better than that... and that death scene dragged Anakin under Sedious's wing. That scene was a little cheesy, but that is the Star Wars he have come to know and love. An instant classic to fill in the remaining gap in the space opera saga. Long-live Star Wars!

Mace Windu was just awesome. The connection between Anakin and Padme was a little rough at some points. But hey, how else could it go down? Awesome movie.

This one was for the fans. it introduces Star Wars to modern-day special effects and filmography. The acting was great, and the introduction of the saga's key characters was awesome. The podracing sequence is easily one of the few groundbreaking sequences in film. Yoda could have been CGi, though, just so the second trilogy would be blended in a little better. But, this is Star Wars, and no matter what, everything is set and stone and great.

It's just a great all-round movie and shows us why we love science fiction. Even in the late 1970s, Star Wars made special effects look as slick as it is today. It's the biggest groundbreaking film ever, and even if it was left alone without the other 5 films, it would still have the same impression. But, of course, Star Wars wouldn't be what it is today without all 6 films, and I am very greatful that George Lucas had created such an awesome space opera.

The original King Kong deserved a little more hollywood magic, and here is the result. Modern special effects and cinematography was thoroughly exposed in Peter Jackson's King Kong. Every old, black and white, groundbreaking film deserves a worthy remake, and we've got one here. Along with a great cast and original-King Kong loyalty, you've got the only remake you'll ever need from Peter Jackson.

This film is like Stargate, Apocalypto, and 300 all wrapped into one. As cool as that sounds, it really isn't. 10,000 BC had a really good plot, but didn't execute it fairly well. It's about the first hero ever (I mean EVER), but the perspective of the first hero ever was like there were many other heroes before the supposedly "first hero ever", or in this case, O'Leh. I was excited about this movie and wanted to see it the first day it came out, but wasn't able to see it in theatres at all. So, I rented it, nearly bought it (thank the Lord I didn't), and I was happy that I rented it. In 10,000 BC, you don't get what you expect, and what you don't expect isn't really that entertaining. The only thing that saves this two-star movie from becoming a one-star is the fact that the plot was brilliant, but, like I said, it was executed very poorly. Hopefully, we'll see better out of Roland Emmerich.

This movie absolutely does NOT follow the Mario and Luigi franchise most of us know, but the valiant effort to follow the Mario story makes this film adaptation an instant classic. It's a movie you can watch anytime, anywhere, and at any place. Sure, it sucks hard, and is darn-near anywhere close to the original Mario story, but for some reason, it's a bad movie we can watch all the time.

The movie was okay. Dwayne Johnson was probably the best guy for the job. He was pretty funny at times of the movie. This movie just shows that he's a good all-round actor. From "Doom" to "Game Plan" - that's a big transition.

Be Kind Rewind has its ups in downs. Jack Black and Mos Def made the perfect duo for this unusually funny film. I, personally, thought the plot was the only element in the film that kept the movie alive. Everything else was a little sloppy. There were some extremely unecessary characters that showed up and stuck around, and those characters seemed hard to befriend for the 102 minute-duration of the movie. Danny Glover fit his role well; an old, old man looking for retirement. Wait a minute, why does that sound so familiar? Anyway, Be Kind Rewind is a good movie to watch with your friends, but probably not a good movie to watch more than once or twice.

The Thin Red Line is too long and too much for the average mind to absorb. It takes place during WWII in Guadalcanal, but the main action that took place on that island is avoided by the movie. I have seen a plethora of WWII movies, and I have excessively compared them to this movie, then I pinpointed the problem with The Thin Red Line: there are too many gunfights and too much dialogue.

28 Days Later would've been fine without a sequel. It was really lame and stupid how the second outbreak of the Rage virus broke out. I was nearly yelling at the movie screen during the breakout period. Plus, the film tries a little too hard to be scary. I mean, it was scary, but there were a lot of parts that were meant to be scary that turned into headaches, such as the ending. I mean, seriously, you're in a tunnel, alone, looking through Night-Vision... when suddenly, BOOM! A ghostly silhouette appears. It wasn't scary... it was just another migraine. Other than these useless details, 28 Weeks Later is worthy of the "28 ___ Later" name and lives up to its predecessor.

Jumper is a movie that goes a little too fast, sags a little too much, and seeks for a plot a little too hard. I was trying my best to keep up with the speed of the movie. The plot and characters were nearly thoroughly introduced BEFORE the title appeared. Plus, the plot lagged hard. Okay, so Hayden Christensen is a Jumper that lives the dream and away from trouble. He can go anywhere and practically do anything he pleases. Then the villain (mister Samuel Jackson) suddenly shows up out of the dark. Plus, the love interest of the main protagonist was too intense. I didn't really think the two would go on a global trip to Rome all of a sudden and "get it on." Sure, they had a childhood link, but that could've quickly demolished. Here's the finalization: Jumper is a movie that could've been WAY WAY better, but it could've also been way way worse.

This film, suprisingly, was very intelligent. I was happy to see very accurate portrayals (with the exception of warfare) of Middle Eastern and Southern Asian communities (I belong to both.) Adam Sandler trained well for this film. Sandler, for once, used smart and clever jokes and antics to make Zohan a comedic riot, including his Israeli counterparts and Rob Schneider, who couldn't be any funnier than his role in the movie. I was especially happy to see John Tuturro in a villianous role. The cast was a perfect fit into the movie. All in all, Zohan is a must-see for all Middle Eastern and Southern Asian brethrens, and it will hopefully leave you comrades as comedically satisfied as I was.

The reason this movie was so underrated was because of the fact that the people's thoughts were too focused on M. Night's career than the actual movie that was playing in front of them. I, for one, loved the film. Shyamalan used his "R" rating to full advantage and made good usage of it. The score was brilliant, the cinematography was both horrific and breathtaking, and the line of events couldn't have been organized any better. Mark Wahlberg really hit a home run with his role, as well as John Leguizimo, even though he didn't get much screen time. The bottom line: this is one of the best M. Night Shyamalan films to date, and I couldn't care less about what other people's underrated reviews state about this movie. The film was brilliant.
