Well while I played Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles I unlocked Symphony of the night(Sotn) and since I saw on youtube the glitch you can do to keep your weapons, I tried it on the PSP. I checked on here for the glitch and it said you have to beat the game to do that, yet I didn't beat sotn yet.So I unequipped the weopons on the first level and I went to the warg so that it would attack me. When it hit me I didn't fly past the grim reaper but still had my weopons.So since the Alucard flying part didn't happen I said fine I just play the game as it should but I got to where the cinematic should be but it didn't happen so I kept moving forward (again) and still had my weapons.
