As all may have known, since E3, Sony has been releasing PSX classics that you can download to your PS3 and then copy to your PSP. And I have got to say, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I've been waiting for the metal gear solid game and Original (well any resident Evil)for PSP for a very long time. I am enjoying playing these games so far and are a great buy. Metal Gear has some control difficulties, but is still worth having. Meanwhile Resident Evil has perfect controls for the PSP beacause it does not require the anolog stick or L2 R2 buttons. I have so far beaten Resident Evil with Chris Redfield. I'm playing as Jill currently. I have not beaten MGS yet, but it is very fun so far.
Switching weapons in MGSis very difficult due to the fact that the PSP has no L2 or R2. So to switch weapons you must use the anolog stick. In MGS I'm stuck on the boss Psycho Mantis.
I wish there were more PSX classics on the PSN like Resident Evil 2,Tetris, Marvel VS Capcom, I honestly did like Jersey Devil, I'm not sure if its there but last but not least,Tomb Raider.
What I would really like to see though now are PS2 games for PSP(Mostly Resident Evil). Like Resident Evil 4,Resident Evil Outbreak, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3, Rogue Trooper, Devil May Cry (the series), Kingdom Hearts 1, and a few more.I do hope very soon(and I know because of our technology we can) is to make PS2 also available for PSP. I woudln't mind having to downgrade the graphics, becuase to have some of these titles, it is well worth it.
Resident Evil has always been a scary good and fun game to me. I have just recently played the demo and I must say that it looks like it might be the best Resident Evil yet. As some of you who might own RE 4 recall that in the game you had Ashley to secure and protect. The only thing she was good at was yelling "LEON"! It's about time that they added a new partner who will actually attack enemies and cover you. However, to myself that's not the best part. The best part is that you have a new co-op mode. For both offline and online. I was very excited to play co-op with some family and friends. And although it's split screen it was darn FUN! I look forward to the release and can't wait for the full game. I think I might just reserve it already.
As you all may know Resident Evil has been a long going series on multi-systems. And I'm really excited that part 5 is going come out with the new co-op online option, but i'm wondering if maybe this time you wouldn't have to go online to play co-op. I honestly think it would be great for R E 5 (Resident Evil 5) to have a co-op mode (besides online) to be available. It's just a thought. Anyways I'm wondering if clair might be in it. And who's the Big Boss this time? Please comment and put what you think the strory might be like.
