Yesterday was a good day for since I woke up to see my free copy Halo 3 next to my 360 in a ups bag. How did I get it for free you ask? I won a contest poniact was promoting, they gave the winners a free copy a halo 3 before the release date
. If you don't believe me then take a look at my gamer tag.
I got through a few levels so far and the games is simply amazing. The graphics are stunningly beautiful, they did a very good job with the graphics in the game and the details in the environment. The gameplay is simply halo, it hasn't changed as much but it's still great with great new an improved weapons, vehicles and enemies. The controls take a little to get used to since the action is RB now, took me a bit to adjust to it since I didn't play the beta back in June.
For the multiplayer, well, I can't say much since bungie looked down the servers. So I haven't played yet, but soon as they open it up I'll be running wild. But i did check on the modes and there's some that make a return and there's some new ones. All I'm going to say "Zombie"!
But my 2 favorite little halo 3 features are Forge and saved film. Forge is a map editor, you can basically change everything in the level. You can move, remove and add any weapon, vehicle, in the game as well as respond locations. But it does have a limit so you can put stuff in as long as you stay in the limit. You can save them and uploaded them to live which is awesome!
In saved film you can view your campaign and multiplayer reply of your games. You can take screen-shot, record clips, rewind, fast forward, add slow motion, ect, ect. This mode is awesome for those halo 3 moments, weather it's in single player or in multiplayer you'll be spending a lot time on this. You can save these to your hard drive and you can share them with your friends that own halo 3. Here are a few picture I took while i was in save film mode...

Well, that's it for this entry. Enjoy Halo 3 on tuesday everybody.
