So I bought Mr. Perfect DVD like last week, and I really enjoy the DVD. The documentary was well put together. I learn quite a bit more about how Curt Henning was as a person overall. He really seemed such a cool dude to be friends with. Growing up, Mr. Perfect was not really noticeable to me. I was into flashy characters like HBK, Bret Hart, Razor Ramon, Macho Man, Undertaker, and among others. But watching this, makes me appreciate the man that I have never seen before, and how much he have help this business move along.

Watching some of his matches, was great. I have yet to see all of his matches on the DVD, but I've seen quite a few so far. The Bret Hart/Perfect matches, well 2 out of the 3 were the best. I say their match in WCW was not the greatest. It felt they tried to recreate the magic from their WWE days into WCW, but it just doesn't work in that environment. Out of all their matches together, which is not on Perfect DVD, is their match at the King of the Ring 1993 (available on the Bret Hart DVD).That match was pretty much technical, and listening to the commentary made this match special. The commentary consist of good ol' JR, Bobby "The Brain" Hennan, and the "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

They also have his 60 Min. match against Nick Bockwinkel, his match with Hogan, Tito Santana, Texas Tornado (which I enjoy). There is an easter egg in this DVD. If you highlight Hulk Hogan vs. Mr. Perfect, left click it twice, and you'll get a promo where he destroy the WWE Championship and I think that's the same WWE Championship belt that they turn into the Hardcore Championship. Good stuff there.

My final thoughts on this is I think it's worth owning a piece of Mr. Perfect, and it goes nicely well in your DVD collection.

As I at least expected, I'm doing another one right now since I have some time on my hand to review the rest of what is on the DVD.

Disc 2

E&C vs. Dudleyz vs. Hardyz II: This is the second TLC match that took place at WM X-7 and basically the same thing from SummerSlam, only this time with involvement of Rhyno, Spike, and Lita. I thought this was pretty good, but not as good as their encounter from the year before. Still fun to watch, nonetheless. *** out of 4.

E&C vs. Jericho & Beniot vs. Dudleyz vs. Hardyz: The match that was really underrated, and never had much talk about until seen now. This was one of my favorite TLC match that had some crazy things such as Christian gunshot chairshot to Jericho skull, Hardy leg leap drop over the high ladder, Christian getting the ultimate 3D through the table, etc. I love it, and you sure will too. ***1/2 out of 4.

Christian vs. Edge: A match from No Mercy that had a taste of what Christian and Edge can do. It had it's own flavor and unique ending to the match. A conchairto from Edge to Christian on top of the ladder to conclude the closing of this battle for the IC Title. Not one of my favorite but still worth watching. **1/2 out of 4.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Rob Van Dam: Fun and interesting battle here for the IC Title. Pretty much the same comment I would say above this. I find it funny they edit the part where some fan ran in to messed up Eddie and giving the fan a punch or two. Instead they kept a close up on Beniot face. I say they should've put the Rob Van Dam vs. Christian match as that was way more better than this one. **1/2 out of 4.

Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy: This one was for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and it was voted or was one of the MOTY. I thought it was one of it, but it didn't need to be that over-exposed like that. It had it's fair share of moment, and everytime I watch this, I wanted Jeff to win it more than anything else. Taker did look uncomfortable taking part in this match and look out of place. He did his job of trying to make the match work and he did. The Undertaker did gave Jeff some respect after taking several beatings from him. **1/2 out of 4.

Kane vs. RVD & Jeff Hardy vs. Christian & Jericho vs. Bubba and Spike: Another pick as one of my favorites. Lots of good, intense action here. I would say this match is more hardcore than the other TLC's. When you watch this match closely, you can hear and see the guys calling the action and the spots. I find that funny. Highlight of this match is RVD doing his Van Terminator onto Kane's face. You'll definitely love this match. **** out of 4. P.S. Did I mention The Hurricane was out of this one? He was taken out prior to the match by Trips and Flair.

Chris Jericho vs. Christian: This match was a bit long and weird. I say that because it seem almost like the first time these guys competed in a Ladder match. The crowd sound a bit confused at times as to where they would go O or Oooo! You know what I'm saying?! I won't take any credit away from these guys as they manage to make it work toward the last couple minutes to a good conclusion. This was also for the IC Title. ** out of 4.

_________________________________________________________________________

Disc 3

Beniot vs. Jericho vs. Edge vs. Benjamin vs. Christian vs. Kane: The first ever MITB Ladder match. Another favorite of mine and the best MITB Ladder match to date. Anyone who've seen this one knows who stole the show in this match. If your living under the rock, take a while guess..... if you still don't know, that person is Shelton. Jeez... lol! Anyways, just watch and you'll love this one. **** out of 4.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio: This was the Custody of Dominick and the storyline was kind of dumb, in my opinion. Anyways, the match was good. Some good spots and some botched moves. There was an interference by Vickie Guerrero that eventually cost her husband the chance to be the custody of Dominick. Not much else to say about this one. **1/2 out of 4.

Edge vs. Matt Hardy: In a "Loser Leaves Raw/MITB Ladder match" this was good, and yet short. Their rivalry before this was great. They had a Street Fight and a Cage match before culminating in the final appearance by Matt Hardy. Lita was the factor in that decision to have Edge stay on RAW, while Hardy leaves to Smackdown! **1/2 out of 4.

Edge vs. Ric Flair: This one was for the WWE Championship and it was a hard fought battle for Ric. He prove he can still deliver despite his old age. He and Edge made the match worth watching, and it was also one of the MOTY for some of us. You'll enjoy this TLC match. *** out of 4.

John Cena vs. Edge: We all know Cena can't deliver in a traditional match but he prove himself in this TLC match for the WWE Championship. This match took place in Edge's hometown, and the crowd was very hostile toward Cena, which made for a good atmosphere and a good match. The spot that I like was Cena giving Edge an FU from the top of the ladder through two stack tables. *** out of 4.

Jeff Hardy vs. Johnny Nitro: Another match that was PPV-quality for a free TV. I really enjoy this one and the crowd was great. Some same spot we've seen before but the shocking thing for me was Jeff missing Nitro andSwanton onto the Ladder, which just chringes my teeth every time I watch it. Melina facial expression was priceless. **** out of 4.

Londricks vs. MNM vs. Hardyz vs. Regal & Taylor: What a match this was. This match was originally schedule to be Londricks vs. Regal and Taylor, but T. Lo decided to give us a present and gave us this spectactular Ladder match. The sickest thing in the match was Joey getting his face busted and blood gushing down his face. OOOOOHHHWWWEEEE!!! There were alot of cool spots and a good brawl everywhere. One of the MOTY to closed 2006. **** out of 4.

So there you have it. That's all there is on this DVD. One of the best WWE DVD's to date. The only complaint I have is not putting the original match that started it all with HBK and Razor Ramon at WM X, which The_Dude and I agree. Overall this DVD gets ***1/2 out of 4.
