Blade Runner
This movie is an excellent adaptation of Phillip K. Dick's Novel, "Do Androids Dream of electric Sheep". The Movie is visually stunning, though a minus is the weak plot. That's okay though because of the memorable lines, the excellent...

Triumph of the Will
Before you judge me based on my rating, keep this in mind: I am not a nazi sympathiser. I give this film a high rating based on its technical scale. Magnificently shot with wonderful photography. An achievement of techincal design. I can see why...

Whereas most war films on vietnam show you the devestation and horror and the people it affects, Mr. Coppola and his skilled use of the camera, not to mention his wonderful and excellently selected crew of skilled actors such as martin sheen,...

The Grudge 2
Not only is this a creativeless remake of a japanese horror movie (the sequel might I add), but it also fails on everything it tries to represent itself as. Scary - failed. Suspenseful - failed. Good acting - failed. I laughed during this movie;...

Eraserhead
While I could go off and tell you what a great movie eraserhead is i'll be honest - it's not everyones cup of tea. This movie will seem confusing and weird to most. It's even been lauded as not having a plot. While that is true I believe to fully...

Once Upon a Time in America
A great gangester film with a beautiful score by Ennio Morrecone (as always) and wonderful acting. Though I give it Four out of Five because scenes of rape and child nudity / sex scenes will turn off some viewers. Otherwise a seminal film.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
This could be the finest damn horror movie ever made.

I mean everything works so perfectly in this movie. The casting, the lighting, the gore; they all sync effortlessly with each other. The Excorist may have been shocking while...

Grindhouse
Good double feature with funny / discusting faux trailers in between. Planet Terror is action packed, funny and gory. Whilst Deathproof is what you'd usually expect from Quentin Tarantino - good (but sometimes slow) pacing, well written dialogue...
