Next year is looking hopeful, game-wise. I haven't played many games recently, nor done much of anything honestly. All of my efforts have been diverted towards making an adequate portfolio. Im trying to take this illustration lark seriously, maybe one day i can become a half decent artist.
Back onto games though, I played quite a bit of splosion man. Getting all the frustration out by blowing tiny men into joints of meat is quite satisfying. It is a really really fun game despite the only controls you have are run and splode. There is something quite exciting about playing as a little orange man with obvious ADHD.
OH
and ODST!! Yep, the midnight release was a fun, tiring time. Completed it the first day and it didn't take very long. Im happy with the gameplay, very very happy. Everything else though, i hated. The characters made me feel sick and the animation was poor. I know it was pretty much an expansion but if ur gonna pay full price for a game it should be a full price game. Anyway, who cares. Not me!
Well now ive updated this very pathetically i think ill get back to drawing. Im working on perfecting my comic book **** my new obsession: batwoman. If it weren't obvious.

Yay its December, almost Christmas!
Its so damn cold outside but its sunny haha. This year has been pretty outragous id say. Been forever since ive seen something positive in the news. Its just bad after bad after bad now woosh. Hoping 2009 will look a little better but unfortunaltey its looking the opposite. The world is going backwards, so backwards we even have pirates again.
At least America has had something worth celebrating. Obama won the election, that was pretty obvious though..with every celebrity this side of the galaxy backing him. He even had Jessica Alba and Hayden penetierre making sarcastic viral comedy videos about the elections which feature Hayden stating that three things she thinks all citizens should do are "smoke cigarettes, vote for John Mccain, and don't wear a seatbelt". Reverse psychology has never worked so good haha. Ive never seen an artist making a "vote for obama" AND an "obama won yay!" song and music video before either. He really was the peoples choice. Heres for hoping America gets stronger here on out.
The rest of the world, however, we couldnt be any more f***ed. Theres a war going on practically everywhere atm. Nearly all countries are paranoid or on edge because of the vast amount of terrorist attacks and negative activity all over the place. Mumbai, somalia, iraq, zimbabwe. England is in a serious recession which could lead us to be a 3rd world country...fast. Its madness over here. We have constant bad news flooding our newspapers. Right now im just gripping to the fact Christmas is coming. Good will to all men and all that. Screw the gifts and parties, ill just be glad to have a day of positivity and relaxation in this increasingly drastic world.
