As a gamer I look for many things when I purchase a video game. Story, gameplay, music, and so on. Back when Halo 1 was released I was excited it was well reviewed and fans jumped on its bandwagon like people did to the New England Patriots I rented it first because I did not buy into the hype enough to blindly rush out and buy it. I played a few hours and the Halo bug just didn't bite I sat there for a good 30 minutes racking my brain with the question "how is this game so popular?". And it still bothers me today how is this mediocre first-person shooter so revered as a...God I would say some fans are so damn fantatical while better shooters such as Timesplitters 2 and Call of Duty 4 are laughed at by the Halo fans who dare to call THEM mediocre. Anyone who has the stones to say Timesplitters and Call of Duty 4 are nothing but run of the mill shooters needs to have said stones ripped off and fed to them with a side of horse raddish that has been between my grandma's feet AFTER her morning jog!
