A late update once again

It seems I'm beginning to make a habbit of making late blog posts.  I suppose I had best start with the subject of PS3.

So on the 22nd of March me and Azel made our way down to our local Game store for the midnight opening.  Having got our timing completely wrong, we arrived outside at 11pm... "let's find a pub".  Not an incredibly challenging thing to do in England, however, finding one that was still serving drinks proved problematic and in the end, futile.
Having wasted quarter of an hour looking for a place to drink we decided to wait outside the store with the five or six other people patiently waiting to get their PS3.

We were allowed in at 11.30 to get us out of the cold, though it was probably just to stop us from cluttering the area outside the shop.  While in store (doors locked thankfully), a couple of idiots decided it would be funny to bang on the door and start shouting abuse... at least until a member of staff approached the door.  With the drunken yobs running down the street (god knows what the staff member looked like when he went towards the door), we were free to take in the sights of the store... "Sonic on PS3!" *pulls out imaginary magnum*

So, I got my PS3.  I got two games (Resistance and Motor Storm).  Am I happy?  Let's just say I can't wait for some more games to come out.  Resistance was great fun.  I noticed the graphics seemed much better past level 3 or 4.  It was as though the first few levels were added in afterwards.
Motor Storm was a bit of a disappointment.  The graphics were good, but it wasn't as violent as it first seemed.  In fact it felt like most other racing games to me

In other news, last week I saw 300 at the cinema.  I have to say, apart from a couple of bits that were quite pointless, the film was awesome!  The battles were great.  The choreography was fantastic, though the film it's self was a bit far fetched.
I have to admit, I had no idea creatures like that existed in ancient Greece

I'll be going to Northern Ireland for the first time in July (my first time on a plane).  So I will be seeing lots of family members I've never even met before.

Finally, I am almost level 21.  It's been a hard journey, but the end is at hand.
