Finally I don't have to put up with 1 GB of Ram anymore. I got two sticks of DDR2-1066 G.Skill 2GB. I mean it was the same price as another set of 1 GB Mushkin DDR2-1066 sticks like what I was replacing and so far seem much more stable... Too bad vista decided to go the way of the dodo and stop playing DVD's or showing me the control panel... Thanks Paul...

Cool, i just ordered another two sticks of ram for my ubuntu box so i will have 4 as well .. and a 500 gb hd .. that brings it up to a total of "2x500+2x250"

Also, now if I could find some (reasonably priced) DDR1 ram I would also be out of the 1GB era...sadly university doesn't leave much room for dropping money on a DDR2 mobo+cpu

Nevermind the DDR3 nephalims... I was kinda waiting for the upgrade to q9550 which I was planning to get but they are not avalible and they tell me the IMC chips are coming this fall so I am unsure what to do...
