Happy Anniversary everyone. This is my 45th blog post. So, in commemoration of this prestigious event, I thought I'd name this post the same as my very first blog post. It also fits the times considering the cluster **** of games dropping in November. I wanted to wait till I got to 50 to do an anniversary blog post, but by that time November would most likely have already past and the title wouldn't have made much sense. Maybe I'll do another for 50 as well. WHO KNOWS? My blog works in mysterious ways.

Now on to the games. November should be marked in gaming history as one of the most crowded months ever. There's Dragon Age: Origins, Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2, The God of War Collection, Left 4 Dead 2, etc. There's probably a couple that I'm missing, but you get the idea. And as luck would have it, I want them all. What's a gamer to do? One word: Gamefly. Thank god for Gamefly. If I didn't have an account, I don't know what I'd do. But that just raises another question. Which to rent and which to buy? I think I'll have to ponder that one some more. Stay Tuned.

Your all probably wondering when I'm gonna put out the conclusion to my post top 5 game series that I've been working on for the last 20 years. Well your just gonna have to keep wondering cause I'm not gonna tell ya(insert maniacal laugh). I'm still working on it unfortunately and I promise it's still incoming. So happy Anniversary with a side of Slim Jim's everyone!!!!!!!!!
Here's a little celebratory parting tune for you. Even though the game it came from was balls, the song kicks some serious a**.
"You brought a hooker to church?"
HAHA!!!!! I bet you can't see me. Y'know why? Because not only am I using the new human cloaking device I stole from a Romulan I bumped into in the neutral zone yesterday, but also because I'm nothing more than a jumble of letters your reading on your computer/*insert device with internet capabilities*.

Alright, now that you've come to grips with the fact that I have the ability to stand directly in front of you without you even slightly realizing that I'm there, let's get on with the updates.
As you can probably tell, I've been playing a lot of Uncharted 2 lately. I won't go into too many details on how I feel about it, but I will say that playing Uncharted 2 has been like getting punched in the face by God himself. I will elaborate in my forthcoming review. In fact, my addiction to Uncharted 2 is the reason why my blog posts have been more spaced out as of late. That, and because I've been working full time for the last month or so.
I'm currently working on putting together the final volume in my Post Top Five list series. The last one only consisted of two games, so I'm trying to make this last one a bit beefier. Wow. Beefier is actually a word. No squiggly red line under it. Didn't expect that. *awkward silence*
*clears throat*

Anyways, I'm probably going to cancel the monthly music blog posts I planned. I can barely keep up with my regular posts. Expect the end of the Post Top 5 list soon. That's all I have to say about that(ya, Forrest Gump reference).
If you haven't already, check out the monthly song at the top of my blog page. This month's song is particularly awesome. Here, I'll even link it for you lazy bastards....
How long has this one been on the back burner by now? I don't know, too long though.

Developer: Square-Enix
Platform: PlayStation Portable (PSP)
Crisis Core: FFVII. Possibly the greatest prequel ever? Maybe. Either way, it's an amazing game. CC chronicles the story of 2nd ****SOLDIER Zack Fair. It doesn't have much in common with it's successor other than the setting. CC is a real time action game with light RPG elements in the same vein as Kingdom Hearts. It works wonderfully too. I really really really want to just puke out a couple pages worth of praise for this game, but unfortunately, that would defeat the purpose of an honorable mentions list. Just take my word for it, this game is godsend. If you own a PSP, there is absolutely no excuse for you not to own it.

Developer: Intelligent Systems
Platform: Nintendo Wii
Almost 3 years after it's release, and I still can't completely pinpoint how I feel about Super Paper Mario. SPM is the third iteration of the Paper Mario series. And possibly the most unique as well. The previous installments had a pretty straight forward and widely used formula. The ****c JRPG formula to be exact. Travel from one locale to the next, all the while picking up various allies as you go. If only Mario was spiky-haired, stoic and emo. But SPM broke that pattern. Instead, it took the more traditional Mario route. Platforming. Although I loved SPM to death, it lost something in the gameplay transition. I don't really know yet what it was, but whatever it was, it didn't keep me from still enjoying it. It's one of the Wii's best games. Go play it.
Sorry folks but this is gonna have to be it for now. I must ponder for a bit more what other games deserve to make an appearance on this list. Don't worry though, I'll make up for it in Vol. 3. So long, until next time.
PS: Oh, and BTW, I just updated the song of the month on the blog. In case you didn't know, it's located just above the latest post which would be this one. I try to update it every month(hence calling it song of the MONTH), but sometimes I forget. If you ever happen to see an out of date song, don't hesitate to bring it to my attention.
