Not to long ago, I did a "games to avoid blog" for a game called Perfect Weapon. Well, I decided to finally finish off this game so I could sell, however after playing it again, I finally realized that this game is impossible to beat unless you are one of the people that made this game. I also noticed a few things that I forgot so I'm going to just talk about them real quick.
The first problem is with the controls. For some strange reason the controls like to lock up for no reason and it only happens during combat. It also happens whenever you get close to a wall in combat.
Another problem is the main character. Every time you run into a wall, he says no way every time. This happens a lot so you hear it a lot and it gets old very quickly.
The third level in this game is one of the worst levels in the entire game. The level design is so bizarre that it makes no sense whatsoever. It takes place in a jungle so you have to climb to the top level where the boss is, and finding him is not that bad. But what is bad is the exit. I've ran around the level for two hours trying to find the exit and had no luck at all at finding. So the only people who know where the exit are is the makers of this game, but like I said in the previous blog, they are out of business so you can't contact them for help. Which makes this level impossible to beat.
But the biggest headache is the final boss. I threw every thing I had at this boss, and I did absolutely zero damage to him. For five minutes straight I threw every attack that I had, and not once did his health bar drop. At first I thought it was like in Bullet Witch where you have to attack him until the game comes up and tells you that only the humans can drop the boss's shield, but no it is not like that. So he is impossible to beat.
This game has some of the longest load bars I have ever seen. Most games have a single load bar, but not this game. Oh, no! This game has one load bar then another load bar, then another load bar then another load bar then another load bar. Yeah, it usually takes about three and a half or four and a half load bars to load the level. That is absurd.
But that is not the worst part. Oh, no! The worst part is some thing more diabolically. More evil. So what is this vile creation that is so evil? You can't save on the final level. Yeah, it's a beginner's trap. There is no way to save on the final level so all that work I did to get to the final boss is gone. So the only way to get to the final level is to beat level 4 again or just use a code to skip to the final level. That is stupid.
So because this I have to drop my score from a 2.5 to a 1.5 out of 5.
