So I went to see The Dark Knight and I have to admit it was a great movie but I have to say if not for Heath Ledger's performance the movie would of not been what it was, not to say it would of been bad, because the first of the new series of Batman movies "Batman Begins" was excellent and it did not have a villain in it quite like the Joker. I felt it was a little long morly because I was getting uncomfortable in the jammed pack theatre, I think people will really enjoy more when they can watch it from the comfort of home. A lot of great performance's by everyone in the movie such as Morgan Freeman, Michael Cain, Gary Oldman I could go on. Ive been hearing lots of people are having a problem with Christian Bale's Batman voice and I can see where there coming from but you have to realize that he cant just use his normal Bruce Wayne voice because any moron would catch on. He could of toned down the bat voice a little bit but I didn't see it as a big problem.

Now getting back to Heath Ledger, his portrayal as the Joker was astounding and it is by far the best villain I have ever seen in a movie and there are a couple of moments that just had me and the entire theatre cracking up. The action in the movie was great because most of it was not done with CG, and it made it feel more authentic and real. Over all it was an excellent big action blockbuster comic-book movie that brought new things to the table and at some points it felt like a crime drama witch is pretty awesome. A big thumbs up for me what about you guys?

As the gaming industry gets bigger and bigger each day the consumers/hardcore gamers still don't get respect from the non-gamers of the world. Not that im saying we deserve respect, but saying that we should not be bashed upon for loving video games so much, and devoting so much time to them. People say that "your wasting your life away playing video games" or "why do you play video games so much go outside and do something" the fact of the matter is gamers do have other hobbies besides video games. People talk to us like its a joke to them, its not like we are all jobless losers who have no friends. I work 40 hours a week and have plenty of friends, it just so happens that I love and devote a lot of time to playing my games. People need to open there minds and realize how big the video game industry is these days with magazines, websites(like this one), and even having a channel on TV! Its very much in the mainstream of the world. Everyone has passions in there life and shouldn't be frowned upon, its like if I said to someone "You play baseball to much why don't you do something else" now that just makes me sound dumb, but if you substitute the word baseball with video games the quote doesn't sound idiotic at all, now why is that? I guess its because anybody can play a video game but not everyone can play baseball but that's not the point. The point of my ranting is video games are much apart of this world and its only going to get bigger and more mainstream then it already is. Will gamers ever get respect? Only time will tell.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like K3vinkha0S.
K3vinkha0S must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could K3vinkha0S possibly have for not rating a single film?
