This Monday will be St. Patty's Day and boy will the Xbox Live users love me. Yes I intend to play some Army of Two while I'm, shall we say, sauced. So happy Saint Pat's Day everyone!

Speaking of Army of Two I was disappointed with how EA developed the game. Gameplay feels more like Mercenaries than to a game that utilizes a cover system like Gears of War. The story is completely forgettable, the aiming is difficult than it really should be, and the AI for both the partner you'll play with in the single player game and the enemies, as they just often times sit there and do nothing while they're being shot, are too dumb. I'm tired of being dragged around (literally) in circles by my partner trying to find cover to heal me that ultimately gets me killed because the AI for him is too stupid. Gah! And the online portion of the game isn't any better. Just rent it and find out for yourself. But even with it's frustrations and annoyances Army of Two is still an alright game if not for it's customizations. To tell you the truth if it wasn't for the achievements on the Xbox 360, Army of Two would of been an after thought for me. I give AOT 6 out 10.

And for the people on Gamespot that is my friend on Xbox Live, I won't be on the service coming this June. The Playstation 3 bundle deal with Metal Gear Solid 4 at $499 is just too good to pass up. And since PSN is free online I'll be using that more than Live. Realistically it wouldn't make sense to pay-to-play on XBL when I can play for free on PSN.

So this wraps up my not-so-daily blog post. Have a great weekend guys!

Never heard of Army of Two, but then again I have no next-gen system. And 499.99 Kill? Come on be serious. That's a half-grand. I'm sure 501.00 sounds like wayy more than 499.99. Plus tax it's around 535, so we need another price drop.

ProtegeRuckus: Are you serious? Come on, even the 360 fanboys have stopped talking about the price of the PS3 being "too high". Apparently you have no clue how much gb's cost. I bought a 2gb memory stick for my PSP for 50$! 2gb! Just imagine 80gb in the PS3, with a game and a rumble controller. 499 is a great deal for all that, but of course you think MGS4 is just another game too. LOL

The price for the PS3/MSG4 bundle pack is not a bad deal. And for what the console can do not only is it impressive but for the price it's practically a steal.

I'm telling you 2008 is the year for Sony.

2008 is the year for Sony, but of course with video game releases it won't really happen until fall.

Shacks the memory stick prices shouldn't be that high. Of course if you buy an "official" PSP memory stick which is a justification of a higher price only for the sake of being "official" then it is more expensive.

I guess 499.99 is a good deal, but we're in a recession and I'm broke. Can you guys loan me some money lol?

I do have to say I am very unhappy with Sony thus far of 2008. What games have come out so far? Army Of two which is a good game, but multiplatform and Lost Planet which I heard was a bad port job. Summer seems to be the sweet spot, at least for me with MGS4 and Socom coming out then.

I agree Shacks. With MGS4, Socom: Confrontation, and the Home service (if possible) coming this summer, Sony will be the one to be beat. I just want that bundle pack so I can ride the surf like everybody else.

I agree with your Army of Two review, well apart from multiplayer, I did really like it, the thing that let it down were the servers.
