A day to go down in history of sports for sure. At least for me, in athletics, soccer and golf, check:
* First we had Usain Bolt, the running phenomenon, winning the 100 meters in the athletics world championship in Berlin, breaking the previous world record by a considerable margin, and establishing the monumental mark of 9.58. The guy is awesome, and very funny.
* Then my soccer team wins a practically lost match by scoring a goal in the extra time and with 9 players in the field ― two out ― and playing away from home. Impressive and made me very happy.
* And last, but certainly not least, the best male golf player succumbs to the awesomeness of a man called Y. E. Yang ― South Korean, full name: Yang Yong-eun ― and lost the PGA Championship. Yang kept his mind straight in the first days and went on to play side by side with Tiger Woods. His two most memorable moments were the 14th hole, when he acquired an amazing eagle out of the green; and the last hole when he got a birdie even with the pressure, and Woods, who surely was enduring a lot more pressure, couldn't even secure the birdie and got a bogey. Y. E. Yang beat Tiger Woods and he deserved a lot. Great day for male Asian golf.
What a day!
