Today after school my dad took me to gamestop and i got a new xbox for free.It now works fine i just hope it stays this way.And its also more quiet than my old 360 and the new controller feels funny,but anyway next week im getting Modern warfare 2 im so happy,i thought i was gonna get it for christmas but for some reason my dad just said "ill get u a new game next week"so yea im happy everything worked out fine and just wanted to tell you guys that i have a new XBOX.

At precisley 6:10 pm i was playing NBA 2k9 and i started to see little fuzzy stuff on the top of my screen so i turned it off and turned it back on again and guess what happened.....

THIS IS WTF HAPPENED TO ME!!!!

Man,and i really thought ill never get the RROD but all i have to say is thank the lord that i forked out that extra $20 for a year warrenty on this piece of crap.I dont even want a new 360 now all i want is a PS3!!! why..... why.... why!!!???? did this happend to me i kept it where it can get as much air as possible and it was horizontal this is a piece of s**t!!... man i knew i should had saved up a little more money last summer to get a PS3.But anyway ill keep u guys updated on my situation.

So as 2009 comes to a close a question you might ask yourself is how was this year gaming wise.And in my opinon it was one of the best years in gaming.Now that all the consoles are neck to neck in compition it made it real intersting to see how each console were going to do and what turns they were going to make.Now with that said lets see how each gaming console did in the year 2009

Playstation 3: Score 9.5

With a few disappointing years behind it the Playstation 3 hit hard through the beginning to the end in 09.First off lets get one of the major games and probably the most anticipated PS3 game for 09 out the way,Killzone 2.So with just the first quarter of the year starting the PS3 showed off its power and skill with Killzone 2.Each object carefully detailed,lighting effects from the beams of sunlight through a window to the firely explosions looks almost good enough to eat fighting in huge battlefields under dark clouds,rain,and thunder with a interesting storyline killzone 2 is a flatout success and every PS owner knows it.The Playstation 3 simply hit all gears in 09, one major one was advertising.Now it seems like every time a show goes off i see a PS3 commercial which are funny and usually when a commercial is on i turn it but for some reason i keep the PS3 commercial on i just love how they did it, so thums up to Sony for finally advertising.So now that i mentoned a game from Q1 of the year let me talk about one from the last quarter of the year,Uncharted 2.This game was just released and it is a B-A-N-G-E-R.Naughty Dog deserves 2 cookies for making this piece of art.Uncharted 2 keeps surprising throughout the game,you play as Nathan Drake a world treasure hunter who doesnt stop at anything that gets thrown at him.Uncharted 2 passes on all levels with incredible physics impressive shooting mechanics and a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat this is what i call $60 well spent So i cant say every thing that the PS3 achieved this year so all of this in a nutshell is that the Ps3 won this year in my opinion GREAT YEAR SONY!

XBOX 360: Score 8.6

Now the Xbox 360 has been going preety steady sense launch and it seems it will stay that way.The Xbox 360 is still the best online console anybody can get there hands on which makes the 360 to lots of people there next gen console of choice.One main thing about the 360 that i love is that they always get more DLC than any other console which gives there gamers more bang for their buck and for them to get the best experience outof there games.Another thing microsoft got right when making there white box is that they made it community based, everybody who has live loves it and everybody who doesnt have live are probably trying to get it.So now on to the games .And how can you mention 360 games this year without mentioning Halo ODST, unlike other halos this one you dont get to play as master chief, this time around you suit up as a ODST or a orbital drop shock trooper.The story is handled as any other halo game but stills feel freash.It introduces a new game mode called firefight(im guessing all of u know what that is).ODST is a exciting new entry into the halo libraryand every 360 owner should try it.Now almost everybody could see that the 360 didnt do so well with exclusives this year but argurably has the best version of a game when a mulitplat game comes out and in my opinon ill say this is true due to DLC.This year for the 360 didnt seem like it was very good but okay,im sure next year will be better due to more exclusives. NICE JOB MICROSOFT!
