I've gotta quit the habit, ok I don't HAVE to quit smoking but I've been doing for nearly half my natural life now since the age of 14 I've looked upon Cigarettes and Rollups as my favourite friend.

Well I've said enough is enough, I've decided to try and quit (may I point out to people that I've done this 2 times previously and haven't really made it to far each time)

I'm having this rave here because I hope other people will read it and learn from the mistakes that Im trying to correct.

Ok first thing about smoking it is a to give up!! Imagine you are in a desert, its really hot and your mouth is demanding water so what do you do..........you take a swig of water from a canteen or whatever, cigarettes are fairly similar in a way. At the moment I have a really uncomfortable feeling in my chest like I'm missing my third lung in fact my body is starting to have Nicotine withdrawl symptons and in fact the only thing I am missing is the smoke but never the less my mind is always saying "SMOKE,,,,,,SMOKE NOW!!!!!" and thats all I can concentrate on.

It breaks down simply like this, Nicoteene is a natural substance produced by the brain for everyday use. When you smoke enough cigarettes or at least establish a routine with your **** then the body stops producing Nicotine and shuts those parts down until you stop smoking.
No I've stopped the organs and muscles that depended on the nicoteene now have absolutly none and are screaming at my brain to make more Nicotine but it won't so I will have to endeour the next few days without anything.

If you are just starting to smoke or if you have been smoking for a while stop as fast as you can, the more you smoke the longer you will suffer when quitting. Plus I've been smoking for about 14 Years so here is how much money I would have had

Maths bit

1 Pack of Marlboro Lights (10 Cigareetes) = £2.80 per day

365 days a year = £1,022 on cigarettes only

14 Years later = £14,308 in total on cigarettes alone.

These figures are the lowest that I could come up with so if im being honest I reckon after working it out that I have spent in total of 14 years a massive amount far more than I've put above.

JUST SAY NO..............anyone got a spare ciggy?

You are not lazy enough. If you were so lazy you didn't want to leave your home go to a store. pay money, then smoke, you wouldn't have this problem. My English teacher managed to quit smoking by working out. That could be a way.
