WARNING SPOILERS!!!
Zombieland is a adventure/comedy with heart and yes a few zombies.
The story, there really isn't a over arching story, but that takes nothing away from the movie. In fact I liked the simple story of the four characters trying to survive in their own ways. Some times you don't need this huge story to have a great movie, and that what Zombieland is. The story is simple a geek Columbus who's managed to survive by being the loner he's always been runs into Tallahassee who's in search for Twinkies and enjoys killing Zombies. These two reluctantly team up on their journeyand eventually run into Wichita and Little Rock. They decide to go a amusement park in California because they really have no where else to go. The story is really just about the four characters and how the bond on their journey as the few last humans left alive.
The acting in Zombieland simply great. Woody Harrelson is great, his best movie I've seen since Kingpin. Jesse Eisenberg who I've never heard of before perhaps steals the movie from Woody at certain points. Emma Stone is does a excellent job as Wichita doing anything to take care of her sister, and she's hot. Abigail Breslin did a good job as Little Rock using her cuteness to outsmart the many times. Again WARNING SPOILER!!! Though most people who've payed any attention to this movie should already know who I'm about to mention. Last but not least is Bill Murray as himself. The scene at his house is simply hilarious.
I'd also like to mention the music. I'm not sure who did it, but it was also great.
Overall a great film that I think everyone should see even if you're not a fan of Zombie movies, which really this isn't one.
It's been almost a year since I lasted posted on this site. I'm back, not sure how long. Here are my annual NFL picks to win the Superbowl.
I should be updating with reviews and other stuff in the coming days.
2009-2010 NFL Season
NFC
NFC EAST
Philadelphia Eagles 11-5: The NFC East is the toughest division in football with some of it's best teams. The team that will prevail are the Eagles. With Donovan McNabb and a retooled offense, and a really good defense.
Washington Redskins 10-6: The always underrated and underachieving Redskins. This is Jason Campbells last and best chance at quarterback. He has good receivers, running backs, tight-ends, and offensive line. The defense will be one of the best with new addition Albert Haynesworth.
New York Giants 9-7: The overrated Eli Manning and the Giants will have a hard time making the playoffs with the other teams in the division getting better while they are getting worse. Look for the Giants to have a down year if you call 8-8 to 10-6 a down year.
Dallas Cowboys 8-8: What can be said about the Dallas Cowboys except dysfunctional. It will continue this season as well, and will be lucky to finish 8-8.
NFC North
Chicago Bears 10-6: The bears finally have a real quarterback in Jay Cutler. Now lets see what they can do with him with average receivers and good running backs in Matt Forte and Kevin Jones. The real question is if the aging defense will hold it together. If they can the Bears can go far.
Minnesota Vikings 10-6: The drama over the overrated Brett Farve have come to an end as he has un-retired again. The Vikings were a average team without him and are a decent to good team with him. He won't take them to the Super Bowl, but they could make the playoffs as long as he doesn't screw up like he usually does.
Green Bay Packers 10-6: This team underachieved last year thanks to it's defense's poor performance. Look for a turn around this year.
Detroit Lions 4-12: What's there to say from a 0-16 season, except there's no where to go but up. Sadly even then it's going to be a bad season. With very few good players on offense and defense look for another bad season, but at least for you few Lions fans out there you won't go win less.
NFC South
Atlanta Falcons 10-6: Two winning seasons in a row has never happened before for the Atlanta Falcons and this year will be it's first. The Falcons are a really good team on both sides of the football. They have a chance to get to the Superbowl this year.
New Orleans Saints 9-7: Can Drew Brees keep it up with out a defense to support him. That's the question. It's not how far the offense can take them, but how far the defense can.
Carolina Panthers 8-8: The it pick every year. It's not happening this year. Look for another lack luster season.
Tampa Bay Bucs 5-11: A team with a lot of quarterbacks, running back, and receivers, but with really no talent. This team is going no where anytime soon.
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals 10-6: This is the Cardinals division to loss. With their great offense and decent defense they should win this divsion by three for four games.
Seattle Seahawks 7-9: The winning ways of the Mike Holmgren are over. Welcome back to mediocratie.
San Fransisco 49ers 6-10: A team with potential to be good. The question is whether all the underachieving players will rise to their potential.
St. Louis Rams 4-12: Another rebuilding year for the Rams who are a long way from their superbowls at the turn of the century. Don't look for this team to make a run this year give them another year or two.
AFC
AFC EAST
New England Patriots 13-3: This team is the best in the NFL. I hat the Pats because I'm a Dolphins fan, but I can admit that they are good. The only thing that will keep them from going to the playoffs and even the Superbowl is the health of Tom Brady. This team goes as far as he takes them.
Miami Dolphins 10-6: They won't be as good as last year but they will still be in a race for a wildcard spot. Sadly they won't beat out the Pats this year, but the future for the Dolphin's is very bright.
Buffalo Bills 6-10: Another sub par year for the Bills and TO won't help. He's well past his prime.
New York Jets 6-10: A team with a bright Future but a down year nether the less. A lot of young players and a rookie quarterback. Jet's fans wait till next year.
AFC North
Baltimore Ravens 11-5: This division is a fight between the Ravens and Steelers. The Ravens should win it with their ever improving offense and always great defense.
Pittsburgh Steelers 11-5: This team could be as good as last years team, even with the overrated Ben Roethlisberger. Their defense will carry them as far as they go.
Cincinnati Bengals 6-10: Will this team ever make it to the playoffs again. It's been nearly two decades since the Bengals have been there. Even the Horid Detroit Lions can say they have. Don't look for it to be this year or anytime soon with the average offense and bad defense.
Cleveland Browns 4-12: Can you say another rebuilding year for the Browns.
AFC South
Indianapolis Colts 12-4: The toughest division outside of the NFC East. The Colts should win the division, still being the best team. That won't last to much long with Tennessee, Houston and even Jacksonville clawing their way up.
Tennessee Titans 10-6: Don't look for a repeat of last year. This team is still good on both sides of the ball, but play in a very tough division.
Houston Texans 8-8: This is a really good team sadly they play in this divsion. If they played in almost any other division I'd have them going 10-6 or 11-5. Still if things go their way they could make the playoffs for the first time as the Houston Texans.
Jacksonville Jaguers 7-9: A mediocre team plain and simple. Not very good, but not a bad team either.
AFC West
San Diego Chargers 9-7: The most over hyped and overrated team in the last five or six years playing in the worst division outside of the NFC West. Look for the Chargers to barley win the division.
Denver Broncos 8-8: This mediocre team has a chance to win the division with it's high powered offense and decent defense. The question is whether Kyle Ortin or Chris Sims can take them there.
Kansas City Cheifs 5-11: Matt Cassel can't keep them for being a bad team. They have lots of young talent but this isn't their year.
Oakland Raiders 4-12: The most dysfunctional team in the NFL. Even worse than the Lions and Cowboys. Don't look for things to change as long as long as Al Davis is in charge.

It's been a long time. Just about a month and a half since my last post. I haven't spen to much time at this site. I've been spending a lot of time a movieweb.com. My url is http://www.movieweb.com/u/huntsman. I've also been at MAL up dating and adding some reviews. I don't spend a great deal of time online right now. I have work, friends and my girlfriend. Plus there's football, college and NFL. It's really the only sport I can watch all the time. Baseball only interesting if my favorite team the New York Mets are playing or in the playoffs. Hockey is ok, but is great when you watch it in person and basketball is just plan boring. So this time of year I usually don't spend to much time only or when I do this isn't one of my top priorities anymore. I still like the site, but it isn't what it once was. Anyway here's some of the stuff I've done recently.

I've added a review for Dr. Who. I've given it a 10, a truly special series. I highly recommend everyone check out.
I've also finished a few anime series.

I've finished Macross Frontier. It's a good series, I gave it a 8. It has some major flaws though you can check out my review down below.

I also wrote a review for Special Adown below. It's a bad romance/comedy anime. I could only get through 19 episodes, then I just had to drop it. I gave the series a 5.

I've also finished Allison & Lillia. I haven't written a review for it. It's a good anime series. I gave it a 8. Though it's not for everyone. I would have to compare it to Kino's Journey. Both series have the same feel to them. I think some people will find this anime boring others will love it, but it's worth checking out.
I am currently watching Tales of the Abyss, Clannad ~After Story~, and Blade of the Immortal.

I've seen to movies. First Eagle Eye, which is a great movie. With pretty good story, good actors and great suspense/drama/action. If you havne't seen it you should. I gave the movie 5 stars. The next one I saw was Max Payne. What can I say except with a question/statement. Can anyone make a good video game movie? Is anyone even trying? Let me first say I haven't played or even seen the video games. I was going to the movie because I thought it was going to be a good action movie. Boy was I let down. I gave the movie 3stars. You can check out my reviews at movietome or movieweb to get more details. Just go see Eagle Eye and skip Max Payne.
Last thing before I go. Make sure to go out and vote. Sure both candidates suck. Should there be more than two major parties...yes. Should there be term limits for both the House and Senate of course. But nothings going to change or happen if you just sit on your ass playing video games and watching tv. So remember to vote even if it's not voting for the two major parties. It's the only peaceful way to change anything in this country. There I said what I said. Boy I hate politics, but voting important. That's the last time you'll hear anything about politics from me for a while.
