Hello All,

The other day I took the CCNA test (the final one that would have given me the full CCNA), I failed...first time I have ever failed anything related to academics or work, a bit shocking actually, and it points out that I might actually be partly human. I'm currently planning on what I need to study to retake the test, and I'm going to go in ASAP to pass the test...because I am rather depressed and angry that I actually failed (I'm extremely hard on myself about work). By the by, don't do any consoling if you can help it, its something I'm rather against.

Studying the first time was why I have yet to blog about Montana at all, nor posted pictures of the trip. So, here are a couple of pictures to lighten the blog up.

Clouds

Reflections

Itchy the Chipmunk

Wanted to Swim

Yeah, actual picture of me.

Best picture ever taken of me.

On other notes, I'm back home, for the time being, and I spent yesterday ripping the carpet out of our living room. Getting it replaced today, after it's been in this house for, quite possibly, 20 years.

I also happen to be in the middle of a great many fires right now, so far none have threatened my home, but I knock on wood every time I say that. (pretty good, since I'm not very superstitious) Much of California is burning right now, and the parts that aren't burning, they are covered in pretty darn thick smoke...because of that I've been trapped inside allot more than I would like, only been able to go out for walks a few times...and even then there was an official warning against doing much outside.

Anyways, be back around eventually, I'm kind of lost; can't go outside much, can't study yet...might be online a wee bit. Best wishes all.

- John

Congratulations on being human.

I saved my "fail" for Micro-economics (it read like the ******* KGB entrance exam), so I know I'm human, too...

Bah, to err is not only human, but also a trait of the Asgard and Olympians. Ergo you have proved nothing.

I dont believe your human.
Posted Jul 1, 2008 2:06 pm PT
Don't worry John, I still have faith in your inhumanity.

And of course I mean that in a good way.

@ Orkhammer - The first time I have ever been congratulated on that. Hmm, yet another link...we both may be human...sure you aren't missing a younger brother somewhere?

@ Champ - Thank you for calling my humanity into question...At least it's a +1 for the Unsanctioned Norwegian Cult of John1918.

@ Aaron - I don't believe you're not.

@ Hokies - YAY...yay? And I still have faith in your ability to pull some pranks and make some trouble.

Well I'll have to try, just for you. And of course the laughs.

You know the old saying. See picture, caption picture.

Clouds: What Jesus does when he can't get to the ocean.
Relections: It's a great place to reflect.....I mean, It's like a huge mirror!
Chipmunk: The mighty Therval spots his next opponent.
Swim: I think I see someone.....
Yeah: Doppelganger photography!
Best: Extreme limbo, fail to bend back and your eyes get poked.
@David: Happy?

Now that's out of the way, sorry, but you can't escape the genetic rules that place you as human. I know, it's annoying to be lumped with them, but it's something we're just going to have to put up with. Until they define a new species for us, anyway.

yes i am now extremely happy now thankyou kind sir.

@ Hokies - Atta boy, you'll find it fun I'm sure...its a "different" way to use the stuff between your ears, after all.

@ David - Open membership I think, though you may have to slaughter a goat or two...not sure. Opps on the doubling...I fixed it, now there's a picture of me...for all those wishing to blind themselves ritually.

@ Essi - Well, I could just be faking my bits and pieces of humanity, to fool you people and all.

@ Alex - Hehehe, extreme limbo, now with 20% more pointy branches. Ah, but the genetic difference between monkey and man is so close that a new species could likely be possible within the folds of humanity.

Being human sucks!

Maybe, but there are some good things about it...like Chocolate...if I were a dog (entirely) I couldn't eat it without killing myself.
Posted Jul 2, 2008 2:54 pm PT
I don't like chocolate
Posted Jul 2, 2008 3:01 pm PT
and that is one the phrases i will never ever get used to hearing coming from the mouth of a girl... o and on the picture of you that you made correct... if you do the soom in cliick.. and hold the cursor over one of your eyes it makes it look like your wearing a monocle... hehehe *childish glee*

The fire next time........
We knew then and did nothing, we know now and do nothing, we will know soon and won't be able to do anything.
That's me trying to be poetic and gloomy at the same time
