Well, I made it through my first 10 hour shift. The great thing was that it didn't seem like 10 hours.

Sandlot & Coding Genius >> Thanks for all the good thoughts about my work/school saga. Coding Genius...I agree with you about taking some work with you everywhere. Some people comment that I only get 1 or 2 pages read sometimes...to which I reply, yeah...2 pages less to read later dood! It really works well for me. Maybe it's because you're doing a little bit here and there...and not having a chance to overload your brain with too much textbook reading. Hmm...

Also, I was thinking about Coding Genius' thoughts about the Nintendo DS and how it and Nintendogs might be more appealing to women gamers. That might very well be true! I was a bit blase about it until I saw the lovely PINK Nintendo DS! I absolutely adore pink. Ok, not every shade of pink, but the Nintendo DS comes in an attractive shade of pink. I think I just might need to get me one! I'll have to save up, but I can see me getting one say...in a couple of months.

Meanwhile, back on the ranch...I'm planning on going to the mall with my sister tomorrow. Just window shopping mostly...and somewhere to go for a walk. I've been eying up a few things at Michael Hill, which is a jewellery store in the mall. It can be found in Canada and New Zealand. They have some really nice reasonably priced jewelery. For example, I bought an amethyst pendant and earrings set in silver for $35.00! And...well...I can justify it because I work in an office...as a receptionist. I'm the first person people see when they walk in the door...yeahhhhh....good reason to buy more jewlery...haha. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! :-P
