The most horrible movie I have ever seen in my life; flat, uninspired, boring, and offensive. Every comedic scene in the movie is already featured in the trailer, and the rest is a package of... crap.
Ricky Bobby and his father loved speed. Ricky Bobby's father leaves and mysteriously returns at career day, only to disappear again. He leaves a single sentence in his son's ears: "If you're not first, you're last."
Next thing Rocky knows, he's on a NASCAR team, working the pitstop. They're unsponsered and unappreciated, and the driver doesn't even care if he wins, loses, or just sits on the sideline eating concessions. Thus, Rocky is spurred to step in as a substitute, and he does well. They started getting sponsers, you know the whole "rise to fame" principle in movies.
Ina nutshell, without giving too many critical plot details, Ricky believes he gets injured, when he really didn't. He and Cal act like monkies for about another quarter or so of the film. Cal takes Ricky's life... more cussing, and finally, something happens.
Ricky's dad finally comes to a race(ever since he got famous, Ricky held back two tickets for his father). You think they will be reunited. Finally! A good twist to the story...
Nope. He holds up the tickets and announces them for sale. Total trainwreck. No emotion, no comedy, no nothing. I don't recommend this movie to anyone. If you like Will Ferall, get Elf. It's funny. And it's alot better than Talladega Nights.
