What I've been doing lately.

I haven't done much posting until recently, so what have I been doing all this time? Well, I've been taking a break from politics and doing a lot of singing in my church band. I happen to be one of their best singers. I really like the church I'm with. Although it is a Seventh Day Adventist church, it is different from the other ones around here. We have services in the afternoon instead of in the morning since a lot of youth like to sleep in. Our main target audience is young adults, although anyone of any age who is young at heart are welcome. Dress code is casual dress. We also have what we call "small groups" where different groups meet during to week to have bible study and fellowship, usually in a person's home. We try to be real to each other about the problems and challenges we face in life. We make sure that guest and members feel welcome.

There have been good changes in the Christian Heritage Party as well. The former leader of the Canadian Action Party, Dr. Andrew Moulden, has left the party and is now a CHP member. Including him and the issues the CAP deal with will help to diversify the issues CHP deals with by including the preservation of national sovereignty and against any form of North American Union. Former leader of the Social Credit Party of Alberta, Wayne Cook, whose party was unsuccessful in registering federally, has decided to disband his party and has now joined CHP and encouraged his former members to join as well.
