I'm a child of the 80s and I grew up with Michael Jackson's music so I'm going to miss him. I didn't care for his "white" complextion and the alligations of child abuse, but I really liked his music; epecially the earlier stuff that I grew up with back in the 70s and especially the 80s. I even know of at least one person who cried, as if a family member died.

Michael Jackson merchandise is selling all over the place. I wouldn't be surprised if some of his old hits end up on music radio station's *today's* top 10!

I don't have an absolute favorite, but here is one of them called Rock With You:

It's certainly sad. R.I.P.

In his prime he was certainly one of the best, although his music was a little more to the pop side of things than what I generally listen to i enjoyed most of it.

But Farrah Fawcett should not be forgetten just because she and MJ passed away in a similar time period and she did not have to be forgiven for any faults.

I hope he was saved. That is what I thought about when I first heard about his death.

@Maheo: Unfortunately, unless something changed right before he died, I say confidently he wasn't.
