Beats the finale "The L Word" had, for sure. Of course, that show was less bleak and more humourous. But anyway...

I could nitpick about the whole "let's give up technology" thing, but that's been discussed to death. Basically, "Battlestar Galactica" is one of the greatest shows of all time, and I was never that much into science fiction television shows before this show and "Firefly" came along.
