I just played Need For Speed Underground 2, it's great game, but I feel that it will be overshadowed by GT4 and Forza. In terms of hype, I feel that GTA:SA was equal to the hype that it got and I feel it is a candidate for game of the year. In terms of Halo 2, I feel that it a great game, but it's basically Halo 1 with online play. The hype for this game was just too much, I feel no one game could equal the hype that this game got, so basiclly Halo 2 is a letdown, but still a great game. I plan to play Half-Life 2 soon, and I hope that it is one of the games that can live up to the hype that it got.
I feel that hype is a bad thing for games in general, because many great games get overshadowed by the hype of the bigger games. I mean games like Halo 2 deserve the hype, but I feel we forget lesser games because of the hype. So I say to you that you should try different games, and not judge a game just by the amount of hype a certain game get. If you need a reminder, remember Driver 3 (too much hype, but just plain bad)
Before I leave, I gotta say to the Toronto Raptors, don't trade Vince Carter, he's just in a slump, get him the right players and coaches like Butch Carter and he'll be great.
