Her parents, Ernesto and Alicia, had a rough time trying to conceive. It took twelve years and three or four miscarriages to finally get the child that they wanted. A daughter named Silvy Anne Moss Perez.

This is how her parents came about. And how they came together in order to conceive Silvy.

Ernesto was an only child and that his last name is Perez. His parents died very young over due to cancer. So Silvy didn't know them and wished that she did.

Alicia maiden name was Moss. Her younger brother was Max as she was never close to her dad. Her dad walked out on the family when she was about seven or eight. Max left with his father as she was never close to Max either. She and her mom did their best never to touch alcohol. It was so easy to dote on the only grandmother that Silvy ever knew.

Alicia and Ernesto met very young in high school in Michigan. Then as they married out of high school, they went to work while Ernesto would be working at the US Attorney's office as a copy boy. While he was in law school. Alicia was taking typing cla*s while working two jobs. Once as a waitress, and another as an baby-sitter.

They did their best to try to conceive after two years of marriage. But they kept miscarrying. Then after he graduated from college and law school later on. He worked as a federal prosecutor for three years.

While she worked as an office clerk at an accounting firm. Since she went to typing school. Later, Ernesto decided in order to try to have the family that they want. To work at a law firm in Michigan.

Still, they were trying to have a family. The doctors thought that she was having fertility problems and had a rough time getting pregnant. That put a strain in their marriage at times.

Finally, when they were about to give up, a miracle happened. After twelve years of trying to have a child at fourteen years of marriage, she gave birth to the most beautiful daughter ever.

Her name was Silvy Anne Moss Perez! They doted on that girl as much as possible. Even though she was their only child, she was the best child that any parent could ever have!

Silvy never would had think that she would win the heart of the "Starcade" host at all. Knowing that somewhere, deep down inside, he was hurting. Silvy was really one sweet girl. As she went into the game to play video games and win her own video game machine.

But little did she know, that she sensed a different kind of peace that she never felt in so long. Drake even sensed it. When she and Geoff were together. After the tapings over the weekends, both of them went out. And did things. Unbeknowest to her uncle, that she was denied for half a year.

Geoff looked at her like she could be his long-lost daughter. In fact, she was long-lost. But now she was found and he knew peace was missing in his own life. Finding out about her parents being killed on vacation, really tugged at his heart.

Geoff was only doing his job hosting the show and being a LA DJ. But he had no earthly idea, that he felt that he saw a girl crying for help on the inside. That angel, who came to visit him in the hospital, was right. He did have a gift for discernment. And with meeting Silvy, she knew she had an angel right there in front of her. He was meant to be her savior.

He was sooner or later, going to have o find out about her parents. Whether she wanted him to find out or not. Because he knew from day one, when she told him that she was living with her uncle. That her parents had to be dead. He didn't want to ask right away at the time. Since he was getting to know her in the beginning.

One day, as both were in the Starcade, getting ready to go somewhere. On the terrible day Geoff was beaten to a pulp. He confessed to Silvy, that he had never felt a peace in his life like he has when he was with her. And she knew, that he was very right.

"I have never felt any kind of peace then when I am with her honey, I have to confess to you!"

She then looked up to him and touched his cheek.

"You know Geoff, whenever I am with you. You give me peace, despite the abuse I have to take at home. When I am with you, the abusive situation I am in with my uncle. It disappears and I am always looking to get together with you. Always!"

He bent down and kissed her on the cheek. As both are and were inseparaple. Sitting next to her, he felt in his whole heart was warm. For the past year & a half, his life has been lonely and saddened.

"I really appreciate you saying that Silvy. You make everything go away whenever I am with you, no matter what I do! It just disappears whenever I am with you. You light up my life."

As he put his arms around her. And she looked lovingly in his eyes. Assuring her that things will be looking up. And trying to get Silvy out of her abusive home and from that monster of an uncle.

"Things will be different now. I will do my best to find a way to get you out of your situation. Just be patient and have trust. I won't let you down no matter what occurs. I will get you out! I will get you out!"
