Let's be honest. When you hear the name "Ashley Tisdale", what do you think of: actress or musician? For me, I don't. I just can't see Ashley as being this exceptional singer or actress. She's not the most talented person on Disney Channel. Many people think Vanessa Hudgens is a thousand times prettier, and Miley Cyrus is a thousand times more talented, Raven is much more fun, etc.

However, for some reason or another, I love Ashley Tisdale. I'm going to try and put my finger on why it is. Because, like I said, there are many people more talented than her. And I think it's mainly because Ashley is pure fun. She doesn't seem to take life too seriously. I also think that she worked very hard to get where she is today. She was not born into fame and fortune. She had to work hard, doing mediocre acting jobs at best when she was younger. Obviously, however, the hard work paid off.

I also love Ashley because she's plain funny. She's not the best comedian in the world, but she cracks me up on "The Suite Life". Her character is very down to earth and she delivers lines flawlessly. Her performance as Sharpay Evans in "High School Musical" was excellent, as well. Ashley also has a huge dedication to her fans. She knows that what she has is not a given, so she is very grounded and reaches out to those who keep her where she is. For example, she has more than 10 videos on YouTube of her behind-the-scenes of her work. There's even one of her playing Xbox. How many stars do you know that do that?

Finally, I think Ashley is just an all-around lovable person. While I realize not everyone is her biggest fan, I still thing the majority of people can really relate to her and how she really did work hard. Even though she's not the best singer, nor the best actor, she is still one of my favorite people on TV.

One thing that makes "The Suite Life" stand out among some mediocre children's shows is the realistic characters. Yes, I realize that Arwin is not the most realistic character, but the character that stands out the most is Zack and Cody's mom, Carey Martin -- who is played by Kim Rhodes.

Her comedic timing and expressions are priceless, such as in "I Want My Mummy" when we see her expression as she hears the mummy fall from behind. Also, in "Sink or Swim" when she gives Arwin gum to plug up the hole in the pipe, and he chews it instead. She just casually walks away with a hilarious expression that had me cracking up.

I haven't seen a lot of her work, but from what I've seen on "The Suite Life", she does an excellent job of portraying a normal, struggling, single mother trying to raise her kids the best she can.

Hopefully we'll see more from her in the next few years!
