For those who have never heard of the UWF, they are the sister promotion of TNA. They hold events with some of the biggest wrestling stars all down the east coast. Friday I wa able to attend a show that was just about 20 minutes away from me. Stars in attendance were, The Steiner Brothers, Team 3D (Dudley Boys), Brother Runt (Spike Dudley), D'Lo Brown, Maven (Former Tough Enough Winner), Jerry Lynn, and Steve Corino. This was my first time ever seeing Steve Corino wrestle live and also probably would have been my last opportunity since he is going to be retireing in April I beleive. But then again, when has anyone actually retired? Anyway, it was an awesome show. There was a bunch of comedy spots. Such as, Rick Steiner biting Matt Bentley (Michael Shane) on the butt, D'Lo claiming that it would only take 10 bucks to get April Hunter in bed with him, and Team 3D doing what they do best. They put a guy through a table which is always a treat. Elix Skipper got injured during the match and I hope the guy is ok. He did very well.

Overall it was an excellent show. It was being recorded by Highspots.com and should be on DVD within the next couple weeks. If you haven't seen any UWF shows, I suggest you get over to www.Highspots.com and check out the UWF DVDs.
