Soaring to New Heights

Brandon is telling Rick about the coinhe found in the ruins. It's actually a Power Coin, made by the late Zordon. It has no real animal or dinosaur based on it, so it was made in case one of the original Rangers needed an extra power boost. Megan, she's there with the others, asks if there are any other Coins. Brandon says that he doesn't know, but will have a friend look into it. Colin wants to know if he can do anything to help with the search. Brandon tells him to go to the ruins of the Command Center, and he'll send someone along to help him.

At the hideout, Miratrix is forcing the crownies to do her work, like thinking of plans and feeding her food. One crownie doesn't like this, so it tries to sneak up on her. She catches it, and gets in a fight, but can't hit it due to it's speed. Miratrix thinks that this could work to her advantage, so she sends it out to terrorize the city.

Colin is at the Command Center Ruins, waiting for Brandon's friend to show up. He feels a tap on his shoulder. He looks behind him, and it's Lauren, the Yellow Gryphon Ranger. She explains that she was the nearest one to the ruins, so Brandon called her to help. They start a search for anything that can help them. Colin finds a hatch among the ruins. He and Lauren go through, and discover a portal. Colin says that he'll stay there to protect it while Lauren goes back to Los Ditta to inform Brandon of the discovery. When she heads off, Colin hears a voice in his head, saying that he must prepare for the real enemy to come.

Brandon is wondering what the hatch could be for. Lauren tells him that she thinks it's a portal to another planet. Brandon thinks that could be it, so he heads to the computer. He brings up the video archives, and looks up "Command Center Portal." He gets the result of a portal going to Liaria, the planet of Lerigot. Brandon thinks that this might be where the original Power Rangers leader may be residing.
