Well, I've only been here a short time but it's sad to see the few friends here planning on leaving TV.com. I fully understand your reasoning, but it's a shame to see you all going.

I am planning on sticking it out for now. I might not be as active on the forums, but I plan on sending in recaps to help David keep up with the episode guide and checking in when I can with some of my friends here.

I know there's A LOT of you that I don't really look at your blogs and such all the time, but I've gotten a lot busier this year with Student Council and school work is piling up already for me. Plus, when I am on, I'm only on for bits and pieces at a time, and that's usually to check and see if my additions to the episode guide has been accepted.

Hope to see some of you stay, but for those of you leaving, it's great to have met you and I hope that our paths cross again some day.

Well...feels like I've not really written any blogs as of late. I know my last was a terrible attempt at getting Season 12 episodes uploaded .

SEASON 12 THOUGHTS

Needless to say, I'm very impressed with how Season 12 has progressed thus far. True, I've only seen a few of the first episodes and the season's not yet finished, but here's my thoughts so far.

The CGI is AWESOME to say the least. I know it's a difficult adjustment for those of us "purists," but you gotta admit that HiT wants the best for Thomas in terms of CGI development. Sure, the animation isn't the caliber of Disney-Pixar, but it's impressive to say the least, as many of us had really feared the worst.

Episode wise...I think the storylines are fairly good. They're still HiT episodes, but with every year, the episodes just seem to get a little better each time. My favorite thus far has been "Heave Ho Thomas!" in part because of Hank's debut, but also Michael Angelis' voice for him was brilliant and was probably the best "Thomas and a new friend" episode thus far.

Character wise...it's definitely a treat to see many great friends return. With nice appearences from Duck, Oliver and Stepney as well as secondary-lead roles to Whiff and Murdoch, there's been a nice diverse cast of characters. Plus, it's great to see someone other than the Steam Team and Narrow Gauge Engines get a lead role, in the form of Rosie.

I was gonna post some more about how school's going, but we'll save that for another day.

Well, it appears it is that time of year again. The NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup is just 2 weeks away, the release of The Great Discovery and Season 12 in the Thomas & Friends series are just around the corner, and oh yeah, SCHOOL IS STARTING NEXT WEEK

Yes, it's true, all good things must come to an end. But, I'll be plenty busy the rest of the month helping our Student Union plan the Homecoming festivities for the end of September. I might actually go to it for once. Plus, it's nice to see my old friends and catch up on stuff that happened over the summer.

For the Thomas fans out there, we've got plenty to look forward to. Season 12 begins airing in the UK next Monday and in the US in the next week or two. Plus, we have The Great Discovery to look forward to as well. It's only a few weeks away.

Plus, on September 23rd, I hope to finally have my driver's license. It's a few weeks away, but hey, the wait will be worth it.
