So I was playing Halo 2 the other day when I got a DRE. Given my love of doing things in chronological order, I can't start Halo 3 until I finish Halo 2, so I started Mass Effect. I have to say this game is pretty freaking sweet. I'm playing as a Soldier/Paragon. I always do my good playthrough the first time around.

I've been putting off Lost Odyssey for the past couple weeks because quite frankly that game is starting to get on my nerves. I don't know what it is, but I just don't feel like playing it that much, but I'm so far through it I feel like I have to beat it.

I took a break from Fallout because that game can be frustratingly difficult sometimes. After about my 7th time being torched by those stupid fire ants, I pretty much gave that quest the old heave ho and started on the "Blood Ties" quest. I'm also getting myself nice and radiated so Moria can write about me.

I finally placeed my order for Shadow Hearts the other day. I got a used copy with the game, case and manuel for about $36 shipped, which isn't too shabby in my opinion. I'm very excited for this game and I have very high hopes for it.

Ciao.

Because LO is generic and boring with unlikeable characters would be my bet. And SH is a great game, hope you enjoy.

Seems we're in some similar situations. In LO I'm at the point to do the last Boss battle(s)but I know my party isn't strong enough and need to learn more skills, but I don't have any desire to spend hours level-grinding so I haven't played it for the past week. I've been tempted to get Halo 3 but like you I want to play the first 2 games before #3 so i still need to get them. Glad you're enjoying ME, definitely one of my favorite games for the 360. There are some tough fights in Fallout 3, no doubt. I just acquired the perk that gives me an extra 50% damage against mutated insects so I think I might go back and give those fire ants another shot! And I agree with Max, being a SH fan as well

I never played the original Shadow Hearts. I just played Covenant. Mostly because I can never find the original anywhere.

Oh great...another Mass Effect lover.

Lost Odyssey wore on me the exact same way. I'm not sure why, I just got bored of it.

As to Shadow Hearts, I paid $28 shipped without case or manual a few years ago when it was significantly less rare, so I'd say you got a very nice deal.

Ugh, Fallout is driving me nuts. I saved, fought through a ton of battles and then exploded on a mine. I started way the hell back at the beginning of my save. Needless to say, I'm equally as frustrated as you.

Max: It has all the trappings of a good game, but none of the delicious cream filling.

celtic1962: I've been so good this year at completing games I just don't want to give up. I just gave myself the Fast Learner perk on Fallout, but I'll look into that bug one. *gets some ME love on kryu*

Randy, I just trolled Amazon looking for a good deal for a few weeks.

Angela: I've been paranoid saving on Fallout A LOT. If I make it through a room without dying I save. I made it from Megaton (always want to type Megatron) to Galaxy Radio and got squashed by the Super Mutant Behemoth. I almost cried.

You please me my disciple. Progress further on in your training of Mass Effect before pursuing other ventures.

Cool deal on the Shadow Hearts grab. The Templites will rejoice.

Lost Odyssey was great from start to finish (at least for me, that is). But I think many people feel otherwise.

Finished shadow hearts. Amazing... but 2 was much better in my opinion to tell you the truth

Lots of great games there (except Halo ) , MAss Effect is indeed great, I was a Soldier/Renegade myself.

Lost Od I admitedly loved all the way through, my second favourite JRPG to Shadow Hearts II now.

I had to turn the difficulty down on Fallout 3 to make it playable, Ive done about 4 of the lengthy side quests to completion now and Blood Ties was a good one, how did you resolve it?

SH is a good investment it cost me quite a bit more than that too!
