Hola, one and all.

I owe you who care an apology as the end of the decade extravanganza has yet to commense. But I have my reasons.

I'm no longer in a relationship, I'd rather not go into details.

Two words:

Swine

Flu

I can now say that I have played my part in the epidemic, I spent my time reading and watching television.

And now on to something that I am bursting at the seams to state...

I'll be driving to Chitown with a few of my buddies on Friday to see the Pixies w/ No Age supporting.

Oh Happy Day!

Then next Tuesday, David Yow will jumpkick me in the face and I will cry tears of joy.

P.S. The whole millennium shindig will now begin sometime next week.

P.S.S. Do not listen to old school emo when depressed or "menstruating" (in quotations as this is something my friend Alexandra once said, the more I think about it... the more I see why she would say this).

P.S.S.S. Enjoy yourselves, peeps.

Coming Soon to A Theater Near You...

En Octubre!!!

So, yes, I've sold out to the wonderful world of the "end of the decade" lists. Come October, expect a film section... soon to be followed by television, literature, and music. And maybe, a few curveballs? Although, you never know.

I love you all. Toodles, ladies and gents.

"End of Kanye West speech"

P.S. I'm not moving to Oregon. I sort of love my city and there was always a small chance that I wouldn't be venturing over there anyways.

P.S.S. Also, if any of you are wondering why I'm excited/hyper/brimming with love for all... I met a girl!

P.S.S.S. Jesus, I sound like I'm a teenager again. Anyways, life is going well. I don't mean to boast, I'm just in a puppy love phase.

If anyone's interested. The Twilight Sad's yet to be released sophomore effort is currently available for streaming use on the fat cat website. After a few listens, I dig it. The substantial amount of feedback suits their sound well. My cat is enjoying it too. It looks as though she is bobbing her head along to the sound of the music. I found it humorous. I might post a video.

Anyways, I've been watching Dr. Katz quite a bit as of late. During high school, I became a religious viewer. It spawned many fits of laughter in myself and my friend. I picked up the Complete Series a year or so ago but never got around to watching it. The humor hasn't aged. The comedian/patients leave me in stitches every time. And Dave Chappelle's session might be the single greatest moment in the history of television. Plus, H Jon Benjamin is god.

MASH
Classic comedy, Altman creates a hysterical world of doctors, nurses, and soldiers. Donald Sutherland does a wonderful job as Captain "Hawkeye" Pierce. The movie is hilarious even if the subject matter is a bit off-beat (i.e. suicide,...

One of the greatest bands to come out of the '80s with a new and refreshing sound. Yo La Tengo have never really made a name for themselves in the mainstream (the closest they ever got was with the amazing "Autumn Sweater") but as an...
