So some of you might remember how I was all excited when I got that callback for the step-sisters in Cinderella, then when I was depressed because I didn't get it. Well now I have some good news. I've been made the understudy with a week 'til the show. I'm memorizing lines, songs, and blocking now. There's a 99% chance the girl playing Portia (the step-sister I'm understudying) will be at the show and everything will be fine, but our director doesn't want to get caught next Thursday without a Portia. So this is pretty exciting even though odds are I'm not going to be doing anything.

I can't believe I only have a little more than a week left with these people! I've made so many friends, the prince, the two step-sisters, the godmother, Cinderella, the steward, a lot of my fellow chorus girls! ARGH! I'm going to miss them so much.

And this is also a note to let you guys know I'm still alive. So I'd appreciate a comment or two.

This Monday it will be three weeks ago that I auditioned for my high school's show choir. The results came out on Friday. Want to know whose name was on it? Okay, I'll tell you...

MINE!! Yay! Next year I will be the only freshman girl in show choir. And that's all I have to say for now.
