Since I've had my PS3 there has always been a game, or rather a game series that I've wanted to try out, the Ratchet & Clank Future series. I've never played a ratchet and clank game before but this PS3 trilogy looks like a great place to start. I haven't had the opportunity to buy Tools of Destruction because there were other games that I wanted more and there are more games that are higher on my list on the way. I bought Batman Arkham Asylum on release date and I'm going to buy Uncharted 2: Among Thieves on release date. I honestly don't have enough time or the money to get into the series right now, which is a bit of a shame since I was planning on playing Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty before A Crack in Time comes out, but that's not going to happen. The Ratchet and Clank Future trilogy looks like a great PS3 exclusive series that I definitely want to get into it sometime, but I'll have to put it on hold for now, maybe some time during the dull months when there's no interesting games coming out I'll go to Ebay and find me some good deals

Are any of you planning on getting A Crack in Time?

Since I don't own a PS3 I couldn't say, but if I did I'd definitely get A Crack In Time.

Well, Ratchet & Clank was my first PS2 game, my favourite game series of all time, and I have all the games for it. I prefer the PS2 series better than the PS3 series, but Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty are great. I'm preordering the collectors edition of A Crack In Time, so yes I will be buying it. Don't worry about getting it around release date, the first game is platnium and one of the most cheapest PS3 games on the market, and the second in the trilogy is only a "mini" adventure. All up, those two games would only take 20 - 30 hours depending on if you've played a Ratchet game before. Quest for Booty is around 2 - 3 hours while Tools of Destruction is around 10 - 15. That's for me, and I don't know your play style, but I must say you should definately go for it -- after you've bought and finished your other games of course. The original series on the PS2 each have their own story but the Future series is all linked, and it would be completely stupid to go for A Crack In Time without playing the other two games. I hope I gave you some useful information .

If I had a PS3 the Ratchet and Clank series would be a must on my collection!

Sorry for the confusion but is there a Ratchet and Clank Trilogy Bundle like the God of War I and II bundlke? If so, I need to buy that as I haven't yet got into the series either.

@macrules_640, A Crack in Time looks great.
@mitu123, Tell me how you like it when you get it @Thomas-Crown, Will do. Yes it would be a crime if I didn't get Batman AA on release date It was my duty as a loyal Batman fan
@nintendoecx,You definitely should get into the series when you get a PS3. @Bioshockraptor, Thanks for all that information! Very helpful and good to know. I'll definitely go for it when I get the chance.
@Pierst179, Yeah, it looks like a great series, it's like Sony's Mario
@SGTiD1NG0, No there isn't because the first game in the series (Tools of Destruction) is a full retail game and the second game (Quest for Booty) is a PSN game, so you can't really bundle a retail game and a PSN game...

Just thought I'd correct you. Quest of Booty is indeed at retail as well

@SGTiD1NG0, Lol wow, I didn't know that, now I made myself look like a fool. I still don't know if they are going to do a bundle of 1 and 2, I haven't heard anything about it.

@SGTiD1NG0, Well thanks for pointing that out. Congrats on completing Batman, I can't get enough of it, it's so full of win!
@persianlink, It looks like a pretty cool franchise IMO, and thanks, I'm definitely enjoying Batman

Excuses, excuses... Nah, just kiddin. I have the same problem as well, there's just too many other games that I'm more interested in. While I've always wanted to play Ratchet and Clank, I just never got the chance. It looks like I won't be able to get that chance until Q2 of 2010, seeing how many amazing PS3 exclusives will be releasing in late 09 and early 2010
