I'm making good progress though my wish list, i've chalked up FarCry 2 and Left 4 Dead in the last few weeks and am now working on Bioshock, in between i'm revisiting Oblivion and filling the gaps with a little Team Fortress 2. It's good to be gaming again, I haven't gamed this hard for years
I left it way too long before buying a new computer. Never again.
There are a couple of blips on the horizon that threaten to derail my gaming agenda, imminent house moving - which is never fun, and immenent redundancy which is doubly not fun... although on the bright side that might mean more gaming time... for a bit anyway
.
Side stepping my wish list a bit I've just bought X3 Terran Conflict, its a game that i've been eyeballing for a long time, Elite II was always one of my favourite games despite its flaws, I still get it out for a spin every now and then even now. So basically i'm hoping X3 with fill its shoes, I forsee many gaming hours ahead.
I just sat my final exam for this year, so the good news is I now have the rest of the summer to game hard ![]()
Top of my list are:
Far cry 2
Supreme commander
Left 4 dead
Bioshock
Call of Duty 4
Crysis
Sam and Max season 2
Expect reviews. I'm currently getting stuck into Far cry 2 and Supreme commander, both good games especially on my nice new 24" monitor ![]()
Well, finaly after two years of planning and saving, the components for the new PC arrive on Monday!
and so my gaming life will get a big shot in the arm core I7 style. I have to admit i've been rather out of it recently, study, work and a computer thats 4-6 years old can really put a crimp on gaming.
Expect lots of additions and game reviews in he near future ![]()
