Hey everyone, hope you had a good Xmas. I want to share something with you depending on if I can embed the video in here.

...Neat!

Anyways, this is a gift for you. I originally uploaded the video on YouTube, but here are the files below.

Blue Sun Bay: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?4gayt4zjtez
Isaac's 2nd: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ymm2wzwqnzw
Touchdown Bypass Original: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yy1uegnnzjy

Blue Sun Bay
I had a lot of fun making this one! I used the awesome Bay theme (can you tell ) which is probably my favourite since you can build tracks the best with it. The setting is nighttime and you race through a city with a kinda playground section (right near the beginning) you can mess around in doing flips and stuff.

Isaac's 2nd
My cousin originally made this one, but forgot to save it. A nice coastal place with a few tunnels and finishes off with a nice quarter-pipe jump.

Touchdown Bypass Original
Using the Stadium Theme (so this track should be playable in TM Nations Forever), I created a Utopia on the vast greens of the pitch. There are alternate paths to take in this one.

So, that's my present to you gamers. Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and enjoy!

Excellent Joe. I can't recommend the Trackmania series enough! It's perfect for some simple time-killing fun. I'll let you know how the TM Power-Up! and TM Sunrise eXtreme are.

cool! im downloading the free vertion right now! (does bear a striking resemblence to "Crashday" doesnt it?
anyway, ill have it installed and playing in less than an hour!

Glad you're interested, Sputnick. I haven't heard of Crashday. I'll have to look it up sometime.

Oh, I got TM Sunrise eXtreme today. It's cool! Lots of new levels. I wish you could change the camera angle, but I guess that's something only TM Nations & United has.

Yep, just got done playin' it for a little bit... i like it, but my only complaint is that there is no damage effects, and even in the full vertion, there arnt too many cars to choose from Overall, its still extremely fun
Crashday however, also has a deasent map editor. Check out this vid: http://www.gamespot.com/users/sputnick2006/video_player?id=IycxnjKq5b0JuDTZ

Yeah, don't expect anything too realistic. It's not Forza and that's exactly why I like it. I hate how overly-complicated Racing games have become. You can barely find any racing games that aren't using physics like some kinda steroid. What happened to just having fun?

Darn it! I couldn't view the video on this site for some reason, but I went to your Youtube page to watch it.

Even more bad news, I can't play the game on my crappy PC! And I like games where you can build your own custom stuff too... But thanks for the tracks anyway Alec. It's the thought that counts.

It couldnt play on your pc? hmm... the only trouble i had was when the tracks had water. (framerate killer) but other than that, i can run the demo on medium to high res. and still recieve a framerate of over 28fps. (i only have 512mb of ram and a 128mb nvidia graphics card (pretty old))

Well, I don't know much about my computer, but it runs this reasonably flawlessly (sometimes there's a wee bit of lag ). I have tried out the TM Power-Up! and TM Sunrise eXtreme editors too, but I still reckon United Forever is best. And I slightly take back what I said about TM Power-Up! being pitiful. It's not that bad, but it only offers as much as how skilled you are, which kinda annoys me because most of the time I've been playing the Chinese/Snow-crossover theme. It only has about 3 themes!

TM United is best if you want to try a bit of everything. In fact, in multiplayer (not simultaneously, might I add. You take it in turns) mode, you can access every level, even ones not yet unlocked, which is actually friendly for the sake of the extra people participating.

By the way, if you download the level packs, you can view some preview images, so it's not entirely pointless for those who don't own the game.

Yep, i just downloaded your "Touchdown Bypass original" and my lowest time was 48.67. I saved the replay, would you like me to upload it? O yea, and expect to see some footage soon of my reasent track as well!
Posted Jan 1, 2009 6:20 pm PT
Nice time! I think my fastest was 54secs. Hope the alternate routes didn't throw you off too much. But then, with a time like that, I suppose they couldn't. If you ever feel like just exploring, take the left path after starting.

Yea, please do upload your lap sometime and also share your track with me

I tried your track again and got 45.?? seconds. O yea, and did i mechen the video is up now? here is the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRXf27yVxYc Its got both my track, and iceferno's track in it.

Yep. I've seen it, as my comments will show. Hope you can upload your track soon.
Posted Jan 2, 2009 9:45 am PT
I can e-mail you my track if you like cuz i dont know how to host files for world-wide download... Anyway, about your track: Was the route i took a legitimate route? Cuz it kinda didnt seem like you ment it to work out like that...
Posted Jan 2, 2009 11:01 am PT
Yeah. It was the right way. If you go through the alternate goal, it doesn't actually end. If I got rid of the checkpoints, then it'd work. That's kind of annoying though. I'll PM you my email address. I have MSN Messenger.
