Wow, I've finally joined a Union! And the NES one, at that! I was an avid player of the NES when it came out, and, now, those memories of Legend of Zelda and Excitebike have become too much for me. Yes, the NES has broken out of the crawlspace and hooked itself up to the TV. The shape of the controller and it's all digital-ness has wowed me once again!

Recently, I was at my friend's house. He owns an X-box, but no other system. I've played Halo before, but I was annoyed at it's multiplayer maps. They all consisted of either huge areas or small maps. I always died from being sniped at. Halo 2 is different. With the Energy Swords, weaker Magnum, and more vehicles, I can now demolish my buddies. Some people clearly don't see a great multi-player game when they see it.

Today, I found a few neat things to do in Star Wars Battlefront. If you jump off the edge in Cloud City: Platforms, you will fall for roughly 5 seconds. In any level with vehicles, it is enjoyable to take your opponents own stuff. If the map and targeting reticule didn't give you away, you could unload hot laser into your enemies. While in a star-fighter, you can sometimes jump out while it's moving. It will slowly fall and it will make a sacrifice like an empty kamikaze, as it explodes on contact. No matter how much you kill them, your teammates usually won't shoot back. Placing time bombs on enemies is hilarious. With an AT-AT, your firepower will produce a super rag-doll effect on infantry.
