To be a daft old git. And to such an end it's time for the first ever Annual ITL Blog Streak.
*Removes clothes and gets running*
WHEEEEE!!
Damn, this winter air's some chilly s*it...makes a fellow feel all...shrinky. Dammit.

Tomorrow I'm off to see the folks for Christmas, so you all be good little herberts while I'm away. Or there'll be spankings.
BTW - here's a fun treat for fans of the Doctor Who theme tune. Groovy comedian Bill Bailey parodying some ClassicWho sound effects before going into a jazz version of the theme tune. With French lyrics.

Somehow I thought you might say that....
BTW - did you notice Simon Pegg's name on the credits at the end of the Bailey clip? It was way back in '98 when Simon worked on Bill's show....

A Her-Bert? Is that anything like a She-Bert?
And if so ... erm ... quelle flaveur?
I had a lot of fun watching that, and it seems to me like I've seen him in different things, including "Black Books."
It's a rare comedian who kills with 1960s Belgian jazz.

Yup, Bill was one of the stars of the awesome Black Books. I urge everyone to check out clips of Bill on YooToob. He has a great way of mixing high brow and low brow concepts in the same joke, and is a master of joke deconstruction.
Examples:
"Three blokes walk into a pub. Something happened - the outcome was hilarious!"
"Three blind mice go into a pub. However, they are unaware of their surroundings, so to derive humour from it would be exploitataive."

I so won't be a good little herbert, but I'll pretend like I was. What you don't know won't hurt you.
Wait, was that outloud?
Seems like you're always gone when I get a chance to get on here. That's such a bummer.
Have fun with the folks and have a very shiny Christmas.
